I had a very relaxing day today as I've taken a day leave off from work expecting some delivery.I woke up early eventhough I don't have to rush to work...these eyes of mine just refuse to let me go back to sleep.After reading the morning news paper and dispensing my dad's medications I did my washing and mopping the house.I was glued to the pc till 11am reading and blog hopping:)Finally I got my butt off the chair and took my shower and do some cooking for the both of us.
Whilst I was in the kitchen I had 2 missed call from Nora she was at Jurong Point and was thinking of giving me a visit at work but unfortunately I was on leave.I called her back and invite her over which she accepted.

Nora arrived around 12 plus after doing some shopping at JP.She brought with her some chicken pies from Pola Cafe and some instant rempah of soto and mee bandung...THANK YOU NORA.Somehow I think we've been brought up that when we visit someone mesti bawa buah tangan and we do not like to impose to our host/hostess ... betul tak?
We had lunch together with what I had cooked earlier and am so sorry Nora if you've told me in advance I could have cooked something more.Nevertheless we enjoyed the sambal ikan merah rite? and not forgetting the blueberry ice-cream after....haha

Thank you for coming Nora and now we get to meet each other I hope they'll be more visits to come.

1st February is my brother in law Yazid's birthday....HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND MAY YOUR DAYS BE FILLED WITH LOVE WITH THE FAMILY.So where are we going for dinner tonite?Your pressie is here with me:)

1st February is also my brother's Esa death anniversary...AL-FATHIHA...

14 yrs has gone by and you are always in our heart and thoughts,we saw how much you had suffered with your illness of lymphoma.The chemotheraphies you went through and after effect and yet you were strong fighting it all the way.The last 2 weeks of your life I can never forget .. I took 2 weeks leave to be with you at the hospital along with Maria who came down from the states to give you comfort.We were both at the hospital from 12 noon bringing your lunch and left you to rest at 2pm and coming back again at 5pm and between 2-5pm we both roamed to the nearest shopping complex to kill time.I can still picture the morning Maria arrived and instead of her crying it was you who did because you knew that will be the last time you be seeing her.Inspite of your visual handicapped I think you are a better person than some who can see.You worked hard to bring income to your family.You helped Ros with housework and taking care of Jaja and Asykary.Your 2 children are grown up now and Jaja is in 2nd year at the National University of Singapore doing Business Marketing and she was one of the top malay student too in her A level results.Asykary is taking his O level next year.

We were all with you the night before you left us and the night before that I went over to give you the morphine injection so that you will have a good night sleep.Yes you told Maria that you won't be able to see her again after she leaves for the states and how true it was .... we were at the airport sending her off that morning when we recieved news that you have left us peacefully in the arms of our dear sister in law Rosaini.Dear readers my tears just roll down as it is very touching to remember of my dear brother on his anniversay.He was so young to leave us the age of 36 leaving behind 2 young children.Eventhough you are no longer around Ros and the chidren are in our contacts and they are parts of the Jellanie family.

Al-fathiha and may you rest in peace.

Crystal sweet are very beautiful and I have a crystal jar full of them and I bought them from all over the places I've been.



Children like to touch them and I will go ...oh no don't break them pleaseeeeeeeeeeee......

Introducing Sean Ghazi the actor and now singer.If I'm not mistaken he is from singapore and now staying in KL because of his stage acting.(pardon me if I'm wrong.)He has acted in a drama I once watch but just recall the title of that drama.His style of singing brings back the the legend arwah P.Ramlee....as the saying say....."mengembalikan zaman kegemilangan Allahyarham Tan Sri P.Ramlee :)

Hello everyone and sorry for not updating the last few days.Actually nothing much happen of late.Last weekend Nana celebrated her 8th birthday and my sis arranged for a BBQ at her place,both BBQ pits at the playground and swimming pool been booked earlier by other residents so the one she got was at the roof garden with flow pool..As we all know the weather has been eratic the last few weeks and it was raining most days and evening.The day was beautiful full of sunshine which was to the joy to mothers who were able to hang their washing out....but it started to drizzle around 6pm..oh oh hope it will stop.I went with my dad and sis Ram and family after maghrib and the rain came too unfortunately.Afraid that it will not stop we decided to go back to the house instead and tante help to fry the chicken instead but so sad no lamb chop or beef.

Plenty of food.....bee hoon goreng,mee goreng,karipap sardine and kentang,samosa,egg sandwiches and kuih muih and my contribution haha hotdog roll ..... balik kerja saturday tu terus buat dan tak sempat nak amek nap petang tu.The children had their fun of games and the parents busy chatting and eating.The next evening they had the BBQ at the poolside.

Yesterday I went to Tangs to buy something for maklang to bring with me to KL my next trip.OMG the place was so crowded that it was impossible to browse around.I got what I was looking for and Q to pay ...... heard my hp... msg from my sis Lina that she's at my place.After that I went to the linen section and managed to buy my floor mat for the kitchen and new toilet seat cover and bathroom rug and got it at a good price too being on sale.I could have stayed on but because of the crowd decide to go home since I also have visitors waiting so sms my sis saying on my way home in a cab.

These are what I bought from the linen section......cantik tak?

When I got home not only my sis was there also my brother and sis in law and my nephew.My bro in law Yazid was fasting so prepare for berbuka and gorengkan ikan dice and black beans with onions and chili ontop of what I had cooked for lunch sayur lodeh and black pepper beef and telur ikan.Nana seem to enjoy the black pepper beef that she just ate it without rice.

Maklang ni dah update jangan tak baca pulak....hehe.....
Kak lady nanti kita YM lagi eh:)

ok jam pun dah larut ni esok nak kerja kalau lah bolih retire kan best.........abih sape nak bagi makan nanti kalau tak kerja kan?betul tak Sya?

Mamasarah I managed to watch the movie HEART tu at last and its really so much better than CINTA .....

Yeah how many of you hate it when morning comes?Many a time my alarm will ring and zappppppppppp ok another 5 minutes and at last you open your eyes and OMG its 30 minutes and not 5 minutes.It happened to me sometimes so thats why I always set the alarm half an hour earlier so that I can streeeeeeeeeeeeetched a little bit more:)
The funny thing is when its sunday morning it works the opposite instead of feeling sleepy like mon - friday mornings I for once am alert. As for saturday I am ok only 2 hours of work unless FT on leave then I have to stayon till 1pm and further more no need to wear uniform and the thought that I can take an afternoon nap so happyyyyyy......hehe

Finally I get to watch the DVD of CINTA .To mama sarah we heard so much of this movie and their reviews from friends in their blog unfortunately I am disppointed as I found it not too dramatic enough in my opinion but once again my view may differ from others.Overall I find the scene is between 3 couples searching for love a bit too boring.I guess you have to watch it yourself and perhaps you may feel it differently from me.

Idham.....jangan kata nak melalak setitis airmata pun tak turun......hehe....
I guess to each its own on taste rite?

I hope to watch Heart and from what I heard its more of teenagers love from my nieces,they of course enjoyed watching it.

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ANOTHER NEPHEW ADAM but he is so far away in Baton Rouge .. Louissianna.I hope you'll have a nice birthday - here's love and wishes from all of us here in sg.Both Adam and Nana shares the same birthday and there are 3 more sets of dates of birthday sharing in the Jellanie's family.....more to come:)Adam is 14 hrs behind us so thats the reason for 14 hrs later entry than Nana:)

Recognise those 2 DVD's?yes non other the movie CINTA that everyone's talking about and a must watch....ok ok I finally manage to get hold of it when I was at my sis to celebrate Nana's b'day.Sya tak main kat panggung wayang but I still get to watch it .... hehe....but when??? when I have the time.On top of that I also have the movie HEART to watch ....hmmm....both movies seem to get good ratings so I musn't miss it and once again just have to find time to watch it.Infact Adah also loan me a hindi movie by Sharukh Khan after reading my blog on KKHH,sorry Adah haven't had the chance to watch it yet ...soon I hope.

Where did the time go?I don't really know or there isn't enough time?10hrs a day I am away from home and by the time I get home its almost 7pm , do all the necessary things and by then its past 9pm watch the news and go online and its bedtime again.Waduhhhhhh gak cukup masa nya ... apa lagi mau nonton DVD?

Ok folks to everyone who gave their birthday wishes to Nana thank you very much,I showed her the b'day wishes when I was there at her place and told wishes come from all over the world.From england,turkey,germany,vietnam and malaysia...lucky girl indeed.

The purple crocs above is what Nana want for her birthday .... I bought it at World of Sports on my way home today.The price S$47.20... but they have 10% less .I am sure she will be happy with this crocs since thats what she wants.I do see some imitations but their finishing not as good.

We read about children crocs been caught at escalators not long ago but I guess its probably due to carelessness.While I was at World of Sport I saw adults ones but it looks a bit chunky and don't think it will look nice on my feet.



Kak lady untung anak sedara kan? at least I know dia nak yg ini and warna ungu(hint from Huda)jadi tak pening kepala....hehe

It is a headache to think what to get for them ... for the younger one we can get toys etc but once they reach their teens it will be $$ unless I get hints from them.....but of course there's a limit:)

It is always nice to go on holiday and every holiday I've taken so far I have loads of ole-ole to buy for my big family... for sisters,brothers,in laws and not forgetting nephews and nieces.One bag is just for stuff to give them and at times I just can't think of what to buy for each of them.Most time they not only get 1 but sometimes 2-3 items,so you can imagine how poor I'll be when I got back from a holiday.Many a time I say to myself ok no need to buy anything this trip maybe just chocolates for each family but somehow the heart say 'poor thing -they will be disappointed' especially when they come to fetch me at the airport and nothing for them.I just love to see their eyes lighted and the smiles when they see what I have for them and same goes to the parents too :)

My friend and colleague FT came back today after one month holiday in England visiting her son and these are the things she has for me.THANK YOU very much FT your thoughfullness is much appreciated.....*hugs* to you :)

Sya this clip is dedicated to you and all Shahrukh Khan fans.

For one I never watch hindi movie until I went to my sis place and they were playing this movie and I just fell in love with this guy ...wait not with him but his acting lah...I will only watch it when there are others watching it but to watch it alone I find it too long so may not finish the show.I know my sis Lina and family watch a lot of hindi DVD and also my sis in law Saba, so if I want to watch Sharukh Khan I have to go there.I heard from a reliable source that Sharukh is coming to sg as he has kindly donated to an orphanage here 'Darul Ekshan' that lunch is on him....I wonder when? Adah can you get more details so we can go and see him please.

Enjoy the clip folks ..... fyi I never get to watch this movie till the end but I guess the ending is always good.

Today's recipe is on sardine roll actually my intention was to make epok2 aka karipap sardine but somehow forgot to buy flour.Since the sardine been cooked so its bread to the rescue...hehehe

I am pretty sure this is nothing to everyone as its simple to do and the last time I did this must be more than 10 yrs ago..woo woo..

Nothing much happen today and as usual sunday is not a rest day as there are plenty to be done at home.Who says we have one day off a week?we work 5 1/2 days a week but housework still need to be done on a sunday.Not fair rite???? Except for some who does 5 day week at least they have 2 days off.

Time for siesta soon after a busy morning of house keeping.
