Another week gone by and soon we will be in the month of december .... oh wow how the time flies rite?

How issit when its sunday morning these eyes of mine just refuse to sleep again when I don't need to go to work ..... ggggrrrrrrrrrrr
I was awake at 4.30am and couldn't go back to sleep again ... I did everything that need to be done and off to the market at 8.30am a bit late today no doubt but it wasn't that bad not that crowded.Managed to buy all the stuff that I needed and was home by 9.30am.

After cleaning all the wet stuff I begin to cook my chicken rendang .... yes Simah akak masak rendanggggggggg ...... hehehe whilst waiting for the rendang to simmer I cook the dessert and thats pengat pisang dah lama tak masak pengat pisang.Instead of plain white rice I decide to make tomato rice which is so simple just throw everything in the rice cooker and it will be done in 20 minutes.

Somehow I am in the mood TER rajin kot this morning after cleaning the prawns decide to cook that too instead of keeping them in the freezer afterall next sunday can buy again....hahaha

By 11.30am my meals for sunday are done and since I had no breakfast I had an early lunch at 12noon ... it is so yummyliciousssssssssss *tak org lain nak puji...masuk bakul angkat sendiri lah kita*....hehehehe

Today I try doing something new with eggs ... I saw my colleague Fiona eating this one day at lunch and first time I'm seeing this dish.She bought it from the chinese stall and she told me how they cook it.

I try to improvise it by garnishing it with minced beef and chili with spring onion and fried shallots.

Since it has to be steamed I am going to call this dish

TELUR KUKUS BERLAUK .




The texture is very smooth just like silk tofu and taste yummylicious too.

Ni baru masak untuk di bawa ke clinic untuk makan bersama Fiona and Adah.Kali ni guna 4 biji telur and alhamdulillah nampak cantik juga tapi rasa belum tau lagi!!

Maklang,Simah and Faizah good idea for breakfast eh?....haha

Sunday is here again:)Time is really passing too fasttt......





Yesterday was a lazy saturday after work I went to the supermart to get the weekly groceries and bought some chicken drumlets to cook rendang ... yum..yum... in this house kalau 1kg mmg tak cukup semue nya hantu rendang ayam(nieces lah) sampai licin pinggan kekadang makan macam tu aje without rice.Ayam rendang masak 4 kg drummets and wings.









This is the rendang that I cooked last nite,Huda came to stay overnite and we had that for dinner and whats left gonna be for lunch.Besides rendang I will also cook beef with ketumba /jintan and sayur lodeh...will load pictures later.


Sunday is siblings visitation day so need to cook few varieties and baru nampak dapur berasap!
Besides chicken and veges I also bought this oreo no bake dessert to do and as at this time..9.00 I haven't start with it yet.Since my oven is on strike I just have to do with no bake pencuci mulut....haha.....

The instructions look simple and it says just 15 minutes to do .... ok let see eh?
Got to go now to the market to buy some more stuff .

Baru dapat logon selepas adik2 balik.... nak upload gambar daging ngan sayur lodeh blogger buat hal pulak takpe lah lain kali bolih masukkan gambar.
Ram datang membawa goreng pisang dan keladi dan bapak turun beli kuih muih jadi I tak jadi lah nak buat oreo tu mungkin next week.Mereka datang jam 11.30 dan masa tu tengah masak rendang kali kedua so semalam 2 kg hari ni lagi 2 kg.Bekalkan juga untuk di bawa balik pasal budak2 suka.

Sayur lodeh ala macam biasa cabbage,carrot and french beans.
Beef goreng ketumba and jintan. (Requested by kak lady)
Recipe:
A.
1kg beef
B.
3Big onions
4Garlic.
2-3 serai
1nci lengkuas
chili giling
2 tablespoon ketumba/jintan (yg sudah di kisar)


Blend the above ingredients.

asam keping-3pcs
salt and sugar to taste.
oil.

1.Tumis the blended ingredients till fragrant
add the beef and a bowl of water.
2.Add the asam keping and sugar/salt to taste.
3.Cook the beef till tender ~ approx about an hour on medium heat.

try ok ....can be eaten with rice or french loaf........ each hand may differ in the taste:)

OK we had a change of plan for the euro trip and this time we are going by Turkish Airline and we will transit in Istanbul....Simahhhhh tunggu I kat airport!!!!!
We will be covering more places and now it includes Amsterdam and London and costly too,each person $4300/- pokai Kam kena bayar for 10 persons. We will be away for 15 days .....yahooooooooooo!!!!!!

For today's menu Ikan pari with black pepper.
I found this recipe in our weekly recipe from the newspaper and thought of giving it a try since I have the stingray in the freezer.The taste ok but prob will reduce the blacan next time.Its easy to do and doesn't take much ingredients to prepare.Perhaps next time I can try doing it with cutlets of sole or dory or even chicken cutlets .....*grin*
For the above you will need:-
crushed garlic,crushed black pepper and blacan.
marinate the stingray with the above ingredients and leave for half to an hour.
curry leaves and red/green chili.
limes.
In a non stick pan heat oil in slow fire and fry the fish turning it over every few minutes so as not to burn it.
When the fish is done increase the fire and toss in the curry leaves and cut chili and cook till done.
Squeeze a bit of lime juice and you are done.

Today's recipe is on sardine roll actually my intention was to make epok2 aka karipap sardine but somehow forgot to buy flour.Since the sardine been cooked so its bread to the rescue...hehehe

I am pretty sure this is nothing to everyone as its simple to do and the last time I did this must be more than 10 yrs ago..woo woo..

Nothing much happen today and as usual sunday is not a rest day as there are plenty to be done at home.Who says we have one day off a week?we work 5 1/2 days a week but housework still need to be done on a sunday.Not fair rite???? Except for some who does 5 day week at least they have 2 days off.

Time for siesta soon after a busy morning of house keeping.
