Today its full house ramai yg iftar bersama and the food so muchhhhhhhhhh ...... unfortunately unable to snap all the photos of the food as I was busy laying the table with Ram's maid Sumarni.We have 2 tables to prepare one for the men folks and the other for us kaum hawa and children??? duduk bawah lah ..... rumah kechil macam ni lah kan? My dining table is only meant for 4 persons.

There are 8 adults,7 teenagers and 5 kiddos ..... my pre-pack children's day goodies sold out.....hahaha

Today I cook ayam sambal,dalca and initially konon nak masak butter rice to go with the dalca but somehow change my mind and had plain rice instead.I also fried mee goreng and also babat goreng kicap and bawang and last minute also make macroni with white cheese/mushroom sauce which was a hit with the teenagers.....habis leow ...clean...licin.....ok..ok...next time just make that even little Adriana finish every drop of the macroni....I didn't get a chance to snap a picture of it.....next time:)

My sis Lina came with ayam paprik and pau goreng ber inti durian kaya and also pulut kunyit /kari daging and sis Ram again bought murtabak from Arab Street.

My youngest bro also came with murtabak ..... alahai macam murtabak party pulak nya:)

Today I also made kuih cara berlauk for a special lady and I hope her craving for it is finally fulfilled and also for doc Adah whose son happen to be hantu kuih cara ..... hehehe...Adah came over to collect them along with mee goreng and she brought yong tofu for me....adoiiiiiiiii makanan lagi anyway thanks doc.

Thats all the photos yg dapat I capture ...... banyak balance so dapat lah semua tah pau balik buat sahur pagi esok and for me ada mee goreng yg I tak sempat merasa nya .... Adah sorry eh kalau tak berapa sedap maklum lah pose2 ni sape yg nak rasa kan.......

It was a good gathering with the siblings and families .... meriah rumah ku mlm ni:)

We are into 17 days of Ramadhan .... oh wow so fast the time flies and after 17 days I only manage to shed 1.5kg only looks like a very slow session this ramadhan unlike last year down by almost 5kg.How about you? dah turun berapa kg???

Nothing much to say since I already made an earlier entry early this morning . Anyway after work this morning I took the train to CCK to meet up with Nor Ash Burn our novelist and another blogger Nooraini its my second with Nor Ash but first with Nooraini.Sorry I can't disclose our novelist picture 'biarlah dia rahsia'....hehehe

We met as to pass her novels to us and then after we pet pot pet pot at a vacant table in macdonalds .... luckily we weren't chased out as we didn't make orders being fasting:)

I cook bubur lemak for iftar tonite a must at least once in this ramadhan .... my own version with no rempah added recipe available @ my humble kitchen as Lina mentioned its similar as kanji but only difference I improvised by adding dried prawns to give that tasty taste and additional santan for the lemak taste.

Father went down and came back with this prawn vadai,agar2 and bubur kacang.

I've prepared some children's day goodies which will be on monday 1st October and since the kiddies will be here tomorrow (I hope):) I did some packing earlier.They will be happy to get one each of this goodie bags.Just for the fun of it .................... hahaha

The last 2 weeks since ramadhan I don't stay in during lunch hour and what I did was to walk around the shops at my working place since its a shopping mall called Jurong Point.

So when you window shopping you are bound to like certain things you see and here's what I've been buying during my lunch hour ..... $$$ flown away...away.....away.......

I bought this scholl sandal last week.

This pair I bought on thursday during my lunch walk about:)

Saw this pillow yesterday and bought a pair .....

Today after work I am meeting the writer of this book ..............................

non other Nor Ash Burn .....purpose of meeting to collect the novel above .... nampak tak tido lah mlm nie membaca :)

Its birthday time again in the Jellanie family and 28th Sept sees 2 birthdays in one day of father and son team.HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BRO IN LAW SAAT AND NEPHEW SHAFIQUE semoga dimurahkan rezeki dan dipanjangkan umur and to Shafique be a good son and success always

Today I have hensem no 1 coming to help the unfinish job carry forward from last tuesday.I told him I'll buy dinner on the way home but unfortunately I didn't get off from work till almost 6.45pm and so bought KFC chicken for iftar. and ofcourse by time I queque to buy and getting a cab home it was past the berbuka time.It was a good dinner in the end all gone ..... hahaha

Here's another slide of what Rudi did tonite....he changed the curtains in the guest room and datok's room and mine is temp as I don't fancy the yellow one I bought for my room but never mind I guess just use it eh and don't waste $$$ ......

As the title say 'my helper' ..... yes the last few years I've been getting help from my nephew when raya is round the corner.I am unable to do all the climbing anymore ... mmm....faham-faham lah ye tak se - slim macam dulu2 so now climbing up and down no longer in my vocabulory....hehehe...

This handsome guy (eh hensem ke?)Rudi been helping me come rain or shine,he does all the cleaning of the windows and fans and bring down the old curtain and putting it up again.Now he is working full time I have difficulty getting him to come .... need to know his flight schedules.Today he offers to come in the afternoon as he is flying off tomorrow so big aunty applied lah for half day leave so can organise whats to be done etc ..... he sms and says will come just before iftar....

tunggu punya tunggu tak sempat pulak...mmm .... ni mesti dating lah apa lagi kan kan kan? takpe bagi peluang dan dia janji lagi nanti datang lagi lain hari....... kita tunggu eh?

Luckily I have another helper this year and for first time handsome no 2 ... hahaha....nephew Ameer Hassaan .... he is on 5 wks school vacation and came to help dapat upah tau bukan FOC tolong kerja betul tak San?

He's been helpful cleaning the windows and did a good job too then help me to bring the curtains down and hang up the new ones at the sitting room and will continue this weekend.....happy when I gave him $$ ....quote"eh so much?for an easy job?" wait ah San this weekend must finish all the job ... all 3 bedrooms curtains to put up and fans to clean that if abg Rudi can do it first before you:)

Since I am home am able to cook some dinner for iftar and mind you asyik tengok ayam goreng maklang today I decide to fry ayam goreng mamak,sayur lemak and telur dadar....alhamdulillah syiok malam ni berbuka.

We will continue the job this weekend otherwise I have to take half day leave again which is a waste rite?

Tonite the Jellanie sisters and families and one brother and family had iftar together at Aini's place.This is a treat from Ram and family being her birthday yesterday and also bro in law's Saat and son Shafique's birthday that falls on 28th Sept ... hehe...its 3 in 1.

Plenty of food to eat but as usual when its time to break the fast you can't eat much so we packed the food home for sahur.

We had secret recipe's Tiramisu cake and I only managed to eat it now at home .... kenyang sangat tak bolih masuk lagi.

Thank you Saat and Ram for the lovely and yummy dinner and thank you Aini and Kam for the venue.

Goodbye dear Nurin semoga roh mu di cucuri rahmat ..... amin.

Nurin, 8, disappeared on 20 Aug when she went on her own to a night market near her home at Section One in Wangsa Maju, in KL.
She was last seen being dragged into a white van by a man.

We've been reading about her disappearance the last one month and just imagine during that last one month what she went through .... the sufferings and tortured by someone called ANIMAL but then even an animal knows how to love its youngs.

My wish like others all over Malaysia is that the culprit be caught soon but there could be more than one sick person who preys on young and innocent children out there.

After putting up a strong front for weeks, Nurin's father breaks down as he looks at his daughter's body for the last time.

Nurin's mother sprinkling holy water on her grave as her family watches.

Yesterday, more than 1,000 people from all over Malaysia reportedly

turned up to bid the little girl who wrenched a thousand hearts goodbye.From the pictures I can see that the siblings are very pretty indeed the eldest sister in green has a very pretty eurasian/arab look cantik sekali.

Every blog hop I did everyone is writing about arwah Nurin so I decide to give my say too today.

Last nite eventhough was a saturday I had my iftar alone as my siblings had their own agenda.The whole week I've been late getting home and had no time to cook so yesterday I finally had home cooked food of .................

Tonite we've been invited by dear sister Ram to have iftar together and venue is at sis Aini's place I guess she is giving a treat being her birthday yesterday but I will of course bring a dish to add to what she will be getting .... infact her request for me to fry bee hoon let see what I'm gonna do and what style of fried bee hoon.... kita tunggu eh?

Its birthday time again in the Jellanie family and 22nd Sept is the birthday of another dear sister Ram.

I think Ram look different from any of us but she still has that anak cheeno look ..... hahaha .....she is soft spoken but don't ever step on her tail she can barks and I've seen it .... serammmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ram here's wishing you a happy birthday and may all your dreams come true and semoga di - murahkan rezeki dan di - panjangkang umur.

I have ordered a special present for her from maklang - non other than maklang's handwork ribbon emboidery bag .... a beautiful bag indeed and I hope Ram will like it :)

Minggu ni memang minggu dugaan agak nya dari hari isnin sampai semalam khamis asyik balik lambat aje bermacam2 pesakit yg muncul last minute padahal seharian dah sakit tetapi sungguh suka datang bila kita nak close -up!!Ini lah dugaan ramadhan minggu ni agak nya.Kalau nak masak memang tak sempat lansung terpaksa membeli aje apa yg dapat.

Semalam saya singgah di gerai berdekatan alhamdulillah masih ada sedikit makanan lagi dan kakak ni pun dah nak tutup maklum lah dia pun nak pulang berbuka ngan family jadi semua yg ada tu dia jual murah....di turunkan harga.Saya dapat membeli nasi sambal goreng..rasa nya ok tapi mana nak sama dgn masakan sendiri:)beli juga roti jala tapi kuah nya cair sekali agak di tambah air tak rasa lansung:( .... almaklum lah kan apa yg di jual olih kakak semua di dalal dari orang2 .... roti john tu saya buat bersahur tadi,panaskan dlm microwave-cuma di goreng kosong ngan telur dan bawang takde daging pun dan penghabisan beli 3 jenis kuih2...ni takde complain semua nya sedap juga cuma awel2 yg merah tu tengah nya tak masak betul jadi keras lah sikit....ni lah nasib saya dapat beli makan complain pulak ..... hahahaha

Petang ni macam nak singgah rumah maklang nak gendeng juadah berbuka kerteh ..... hehehe
guarantee mesti banyak makanan hari ni kat sana.....oi maklang dengar tak?jgn sembunyi eh?
Ingat macam nak amek halfday aje ptg ni pasal badan macam rasa tak sedap dari semalam sebab tu tido awal sekali.Tapi nak tengok juga mood ketua tu kekadang makan gaji ni susah juga kan?kalau hati sya ni busuk mmg nak mau masuk pagi ni ................. hahaha.
