Today I have special guests coming over for lunch and they are all my blogger friends from far and near ..... ada yg fly in from Belgium to celebrate raya with the family,ada yg driving from Kerteh and some drive from Jurong in sg.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY NEPHEW HADI whose birthday falls yesterday...sorry lambat sikit:)Wish you all the best for the future ni bila nak blanja wak huh?

Today special so far ada yg belum siap lagi tapi sempat nak online ..... hehehe

Thank you maklang kerena sudi singgah walaupun cuma 21/2 jam we really had fun.To Mush and Basha and baby Nora thank you too for coming and making time all the way from Pasir Ris.Thank you doc Adah too for the curry puff and chicken pie.

The best of all everyone get to tahpau food home too ..... hahaha

After a tiring 1st day of syawal I was flat out and if given a chance I just wanna to stay in bed all day:)unfortunately the house need to be attended to ... cleaning,moping,cooking etc ...... Infact both father and me had a good rest in the end yesterday.... no visitors at all during the day so I stayed in bed most of the time.

My brother Fandi came to fetch me at 6pm so off we go to Bishan to wak sadin place for dinner ... as usual most of the Jellanies will meet up again and when the girls and me are together its modeling session again ..... hahaha ..... in between eating:)

From Bishan we moved on to CCK to Aini's place the Windermere where we had another round of foooddd again.Kam and Aini orered KFC and Pizza and we really enjoyed them.This is followed by birthday celebration again for Hannah and Hassaan .... lucky 18 yr olds kan?
After the eating session we the adults get to watch Suhaimi Yusof movie .... hilarious and funny comedy and when we finally left it was past midnight and the minute I got home I just dived onto the bed and zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tonite I am home and able to make this entry and so far only had my aunt and family who came to visit whilst I was at work.

It has been a tiring day for me waking at the crack of dawn cooking and preparing for raya.I cook the usual raya food of lontong with sayur lodeh,rendang ayam,sambal goreng,serunding and bergdil.I cook the rendang on the eve and serunding a day before that otherwise I won't have time.
I didn't even get to put make -up on or wear something nice instead I put on a blouse I bought in KL early in February which I am wearing first time ...kira baju baru lah juga kan kan kan?

The family start to arrive as early as 10am from bro Fendi and his 2 boys after the solat raya bringing ice for me and at 11am from my sis in law Ros and children(my arwah brother family) straight after solat rayaand she brought 2 cakes:)

My niece from Nederland is home for raya and we get to meet her lovely daughter Dahlia along with his brother our celeb Imran Ajmain .... Norabella jgn jeles eh I had a picture taken with him but I look so tired ................

The rest of siblings came soon after and the house was full .......... every rooms are occupied and where else can they sit of course lepak on the beds....the boys in the guest room and the girls in my room.The adults remain in the sitting room comparing notes and me?? everywhere........ hahaha

I am sharing some photos here with you and I managed to get a potrait of each nephews and nieces except for my youngest brother children .... too small to pose so I got 3 of them togther.

Happy to say that 'My Daily Happenings' is one year old.

Happy birthday to you.

I came into blogsphere by chance after reading someone's blog and from there I click to all the comments and I found its very interesting that people in all walks of life are sharing from A-Z online.The one person who encourages me to set up my own is non other Idhamand maklang and thank you also to Sya and kaklady who gave moral support and not forgetting norabella who became my first sg blog-friend.

Diam tak diam dah setahun berlalu dan banyak pengajaran yang saya pelajari sesama.

Thank you to all my friends who endlessly came to visit and without you nice people this home will be lonely with no life.

Thank you everyone who make this home of mine a daily visit leaving your comments and advise.

Thank you...thank you.....thank you.

Today is day 1 of my leave and its madness rush to the market buying stuff bit by bit to store and cook for raya on saturday.My poor fridge is crying for HELP no room to breathe at all ..... my first job is to do the serunding as its time consume frying it to the consistency required.My arms gonna break soon ................ I also have to give to my siblings so can you imagine how much of that I had to fry????

Here goes...............

The grated coconuts all blend with the grinded ingredients ........

The tediest job one has to do .... from a wet heavy grated coconuts frying and mayang it all the time so that it won't get burn ..... to the right,to the left and to all over again on a slow fire ......

After almost 95 minutes voila its done....*whew*..................

All packed ready to distribute to the siblings who requested ....

Tomorrow I will do for myself I thought it was enough but I bought a bigger container instead of the usual:)

I saw these cute cakes when I was at the market from the same lady I bought my tarts and makmur on sunday.The one on top is kek mambo kalau makan bolih joget mambo agak nya...hehehe and the other is tiger swiss roll .... ahhhhhhhhh need to be refrigrated and no more room...takpe bolih potong makan for iftar nanti....yeah!!

Today hensem no 1 came to clean all the fans for me .....

Sempat senyum lagi .................

Tengah lap kan cabinet yang penuh dgn minyak yg meresap bila memasak... huh rajin kan si hensem ni ..... ada sape2 yg berkenan?? ni mobile dia 9387 .... hahaha ......

Kepala ikan merah masak asam pedas untuk berbuka hari ni .... ni dah pack kan for my sister.

Babat goreng cili .... UBA another a must try ok?ooopss seram tengok minyak tu!!!

Its birthday time again in the Jellanie family and 28th Sept sees 2 birthdays in one day of father and son team.HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BRO IN LAW SAAT AND NEPHEW SHAFIQUE semoga dimurahkan rezeki dan dipanjangkan umur and to Shafique be a good son and success always

Today I have hensem no 1 coming to help the unfinish job carry forward from last tuesday.I told him I'll buy dinner on the way home but unfortunately I didn't get off from work till almost 6.45pm and so bought KFC chicken for iftar. and ofcourse by time I queque to buy and getting a cab home it was past the berbuka time.It was a good dinner in the end all gone ..... hahaha

Here's another slide of what Rudi did tonite....he changed the curtains in the guest room and datok's room and mine is temp as I don't fancy the yellow one I bought for my room but never mind I guess just use it eh and don't waste $$$ ......
