The day finally arrive to leave for our 2 weeks break in Europe and of course this holiday will not materialise if not for the kind generosity of sister Aini and bro in law Kam.....thank you...thank you.....semoga balasan nya di akhirat...amin.

I am yet to pack my luggage and so far I have all light clothing to pack but now it seems the weather a changing and was advised to bring some cardigans and coat.....ah leceh nya kan?Ingat light clothing will give more space so bolih lah berjoli shopping!!!....hehe

I think the trip gonna be fun especially when you are with your siblings,my sister Ram and bro in law Saat with their teenagers Shafiqah and Shafigue.Sister Aini and bro in law Kam with their 3 kiddos ..ooopssss teenagers Hannah and Hafiz and little Adriana who is 3 1/2.We will also be meeting my other sister Maria and hubby Johan who happened to be in europe for the French open in Paris and we will be meeting in Lucerne - Switzerland.....so its gonna be fun...fun...fun.

Eventhough I will be away having a good time never the less I haven't forgotten all of you lovely friends in the blogland.You will always be in my heart and my mind.......Rina Jordan this is 4 u and also maklang yg ngah bercuti kat Penang tu agak ngah syiok makan nasi kandar eh maklang?.....ni parcel belum lagi sampai2 hai kempunan lah saya nak makan serunding daging masakkan maklang.......kaklady I masih ingat kat you and thanx for msgs left on YM:)and Mulan too for the msgs left behind....hope you are feeling bettter now.

Simah keep your molibe on -will sms you when I transit in Istanbul.....jgn you syiok tido pulak tak dengar kang bunyi handphone ..... hehehe

Kak Teh wait for me ok?......hehehe.....yes I hope to meet our famous blogger non other than kak teh in London insya'allah.

Ajzie the 4 hours trip is too far better not kesian ... takpe kita jumpa when you are back in Malaysia nanti.

Musliha we see you and Dahlia in Amsterdam insya'allah.....can't wait to see my cucu(3rd generation)....hahaha

Oh wow its gonna be a long entry since I won't be blogging for the next 2 weeks but if time permits and if I can find a computer may update a short entry wherever I am.

2nd June to bro in law Kam ... hey we going to party in Venice lah.

3rd June to Dr.Nur Izzah aka easylady....happy birthday to you:)..cantik hadiah dari maklang tu kan?

4th June to my sister Lina and Dr Sa'adah aka Adah and to both of you happy happy birthday yg ke ...... semoga dimurakan rezeki dan di panjangkan umur.Adah I will claim my lunch from you when I get back.....hahaha

6th June to my sis in law Sabariah.....selamat hari jadi.....dinner kat mana?eat my share for me ok?

and to anyone else who is celebrating their birthdays in this month June too.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF YOU LOVELY PEOPLE.

To Norabella who will be going for a surgery on 8th June .... here's wishing you a speedy recovery and hope the surgery will be uneventful.Jangan takut kang blood pressure to naik tinggi kena tangguh pulak surgery tu .... will think of you on that day and I think I am in Amsterdam....nanti I cakap kat tulips tu suruh terbang kat Norabella's ward.

Almost done packing but looks like I have to take some out to give room for some warm clothing.
Hand luggage to carry some extra light change in Rome as we won't check into hotel till late .... nampak tak mandi lah satu hari sesampai Rome kami terus pergi sight-seeing.....

countdown 1 day to go.......

Happy 8th Birthday to Haziq Irfan.


Here's another birthday in the Jellanie's family today 29th May.The youngest of my bro's 4 children.The eldest as you have seen in my previous entry is his brother Rudi who was in Turkey early this month and had the apportunity to meet Simah and family.Haziq came 11 yrs after his sister so as can you can guess he is the manja son......hehe

With him today celebrating is also my youngest brother Muhammad .... both of them share the same birthday.Happy birthday Cik Boy ...... nama timangan boy kekal sampai hari ni walaupun cik boy dah ada orang anak.

Also to my colleague Fiona Happy Birthday to you too.Hope you will have a pleasant day relaxing at home.

Count down 3 days to go ......

I was up early this morning before the crack of dawn....ntah mata ni tak bolih tutup....so I decide to clean up the cupboard that was crying desperately pleaseeeeeeeeee clean me up!!!Actually was looking for stuff to bring with me for the holiday.......hehe
Kaklady barang I cari dulu dah jumpa skg .....

I washed some of the things that I want to use then get the luggage out from the wardrobe from the next room and at last more or less half the job done.I was told its hot now so decide to bring tees and jeans only except for the alps some thick pull over and jacket.I put in 10 tees and some night clothes and as for undies buy disposables so much easier esp for 2 wks mana nak cari laundry to wash?and by the look of it all the days we will be on the road and sightseeing.

Now the sad part we will be in Paris sat and sunday where most of the boutigues will be close .... sob...sob... how to do shopping ah?Fazia anywhere I can do shopping on sunday?hehe....maybe we will end up going to Disneyland:)

Maybe will buy in Rome from the Steps.Ni cakap2 duit pun belum tukar lagi......ok must do it tomorrow at lunch time cause in the evening the 3 money changers at JP will be packed esp now school holiday.


Diam tak diam dah sampai pun hari nya kan? Masa berlalu terlalu cepat kan?

Alhamdulillah the parcel I sent to the Kerteh family finally arrived after 7days....*whew*.......
Sorry eh maklang b'day present tu lambat sampai inspite of speedpost!!

Aha how come eh the last time we ordered flowers for your b'day also last minute couldn't be delivered ...kerteh not in their area of delivery-too far!! Ni courrier service also couldn't find your house...why?why?why?.......making a suggestion ni ...get a contractor to put neon lights all the way to your house lah so next time senang nak cari ..... hahaha....jgn marah eh bergurau sahja.

I am glad the children like the stuff yg tak berharga tu ...ciput aje tapi dgn niat hati yg ikhlas for them.I hope Alang is happy that she gets to eat the naugats that arrive in time before your departure.... you don't know how I bambu kat the customer service people tu abt the delay of delivering the parcel......hahaha......next time if there's a next time lah I will use the usual post delivery.Will sms you when I receive the serunding daging tu ... ntah kena sensored juga!!

Rambang mata again ..... hehe.... today on the way to the taxi stand as usual I will pass by esprit,bum etc and somehow mata ni nampak pulak kasut yg sedang di display kat John Littles.The other day I was so fancinated by a pair of shoes but unfortunately as usual they don't have my size .... kaki gajah kata kan...I need a wide front.

Actually I wanted to buy a slip in sandal very nice but no size:( then this pair of eyes saw these flatties and I for one like to wear flatties and what do you know I took the biggest size and yahoooooooooo it fits so beautifully but then it was just trying who knows after a few hours of using it I may feel the pinch or pain ..... and hopefully not at all.Huda see these cantik kan? nak pinjam tak?....hehehe....yes Huda likes to use my shoes as we both of same size ..... same in everything lah....except maybe I am one size smaller....haha



Do you find it cute?I don't mind the design of stars or stripes most important ada my sizeeeeeeeeee.

I will put entry daily till I leave for my holiday and after the 30th 'MY DAILY HAPPENINGS' will be on holiday too unless I can find a place somewhere to put an entry during the holidays.

I just check with the speed post again tonite and they told me my parcel is at the custom!!!apa kejadah buat kat sana pulak ek? maybe the pensils and naugats look like weapons ke?

Rambang mata ...... its difficult rite when we can't control ourselves?
Everyday since last week I've been passing by this little cart peddler at the basement of my working place at JP(I work in a shopping centre in the west)and been eyeing this little bag.What attracted me was the 'cat' maklum lah I was born in the tiger year and even though its a leopard I just couldn't resist buying it:) so last saturday finally I decide to get it after few`days of hesitation....alahai bag yg berlambak dlm almari tak terpakai ni beli lagi....kalau dah rambang mata tu semua nampak mmg nak.


How do you find it cute rite? and the features really look real.Its of soft velvet and its the only set!

Dinner tonite is from KFC ..... finger licking good.The above is BBQ cheezy meltz new promo and I love it and its of tortilla skin with chunky chicken cubes and tomatoes and cheese inside.You have to eat hot to feel the cheezy taste.

I also bought cheezy fries along with buddy meal of 4 chickens and coleslaw and mashed potatoes for both of us.Once in a while its ok to eat junk food ... can't think of anything else to buy for dinner.

The minute I got home I called the speed post company to enquire about the parcel that I posted for maklang and family.I posted it on the 16th May and up to date they haven't receive it yet!! and I paid for speed post and was told they will get it with 3-4 days ... but its been 6 days now!!!.....well the officer who answered my call is very polite and know how to tackle my problem.She had checked after giving her my registered number for the parcel and she told me the parcel already arrived at the distribution centre and that must be KL I guess but how come it takes so long to get it send to Trengganu??? eh maklang ntah2 parcel tu kena hijack tak?ok I just hope it will get there by thursday as I've explained to the officer.Sabar ye maklang and family esok hopefully sampai lah parcel tu.

8 more days before my departure for the europe holiday and I hope I can get to an internet whilst I am away so I can at least update with short entry.In the case I can't just have to wait till I get back in sg ok?

Finally we had the BBQ long awaited and if you remember when Nana was having her birthday BBQ it was raining that we had to eat indoors.

Tonite's weather was good - cool and breezy by the pool and a very good turnout of guests.Huda's school friends from her secondary school and Polytechnic came in big groups and I think close to 30 of them.Then family members and neighbours.There were plenty of food mostly cook by my sis Lina.There's nasi bryani ayam,mee goreng,bee hoon goreng,a neighbour brought lontong goreng and another popia goreng.Lina also did kuih putri salat and rojak buah.Then of course the BBQ stuff of chicken wings,hotdogs,beef,prawns and crab sticks.

My niece Nurul Huda will be 19 on 19th May and she is having a BBQ at the poolside where the family lives.I have ordered a birthday cake and its going to be cupcakes made by Norabella.

When she was a baby arwah mak look after her and when my sister Lina has to work nights she sleeps with me and mind you I have to wake up to feed her and ontop of that I have to work the next day.

She was a beautiful baby born at 4.3kg ...... semangat habis!! a lovely baby with nice curly hair as I think its the Jellanies trademark:)

She was like mine whenever I am off I will bring her in her pram\stroller out shopping whether its by train or taxi.Everyone will stop and play with her and say how lovely she was ..... Huda if you are reading this mesti kembang kan?


I watch her growing from a baby to a little girl and I remember when she was in nursery in the morning session we had a hard time waking her up as the school bus will fetch at 8am and most time poor Marylou( filipino maid) and myself will be struggling to bathe her and dressed her *phew*.... afterall at 4 yrs old its too early for her to wake up rite.When she enrolled in primary school I was also there to see her first day in school just like other mothers .... sanggup ambil cuti....haha


Then she starts her secondary school and when she has good 'O' level result I brought her to Perth in 2005 to shop for her shoes,bags and most of all our XL outfits...hehe....here in sg a bit difficult to buy a good XL stuff.Perth was paradise for her :) she even said that Perth was made for her cause she can buy a lot of things that really fit her.We left Perth with 75kg of luggage between the 2 of us....apa tak Huda how many pairs of shoes did you buy? 5 or 6 pairs rite ?and bags some more all for her enrolment to the polytechnic,jeans and pants and tops ..shop and shop and shop till we dropped...(luckily Kay and Vcitor have friends working for SIA just imagine how much excess luggage we have to apy for)......and now she is in her 3rd and final year...how time flies kan?

Here's wishing you a happy birthday and hope you be successful in all your future endeavour and all the best in your final exams.Bila dah kerja jgn lupa belanja wak ok?....hehehe

Today I received another parcel from my sister in Kerteh ..... thank you maklang sungguh cantik your handwork ni after this awaiting that ribbon emboidery ok?....hehehe....just kidding lah.



Remember my little cushion that I brought with me to KL early this year?

Now it has new coat specially made by maklang ... I guess its for nurses day present:)






On top of that she also did another cushion cover which has a very meaningful meaning on it.







In this moment of happiness a little sadness too creep into me since last night.....haha nothing major only my handphone out of the blue can't be charge - the battery!!I will have to bring it to the agent to take a look.Luckily I still have my Nokia so I am back using it again...........

Beside for me maklang also did for Adah our doc and Norabella ..... thank you on their behalf maklang.Adah I will bring yours tomorrow and Nora I'll give yours when I see you on saturday at my sis place ok.

Hikmah2 is now showing in sg every monday at 9pm for 2 hours.I wouldn't want to miss the show but most times I only manage to watch half the show.Its either when the parts on those evil characters I will switch channel or I doze off to sleep.....hehe

I heard from maklang in malaysia they are showing Hikmah3 now on Astro.....wah how exciting:)
Even atok wait up for this show every monday night...not too long ago all the Jellanies all were following the other indon setron DIA and now HIKMAH.

The story line always seem to be the same the rich and the poor,the struggles,revenge and all.
When I am away I am going to miss 2 weeks episodes arrggggh!

Hari berlalu terlalu cepat kan?Sudah sebulan yang lalu heboh dengan hari ibu .... setiap shopping centres ada jualan untuk hadiah hari ibu.Hari ibu pun dah sampai dan esok semua nya berlalu dan menunggu hari bapak pulak.

Macam mana ibu2 semua banyak dapat hadiah?...mesti kan? pagi tadi maklang kata dia banyak dapat chocolates dari anak2..mmm...there goes 'my diet' lah nampak nya kan maklang?Tak mengapa sehari dua ni makan aje lah lupakan diet miet tu......hehe

Sempena ni saya nak ucapkan TERIMA KASIH pada maklang,mulan dan kakladykerana mungucapkan 'HAPPY NURSES DAY' pada saya.
Mulan I saw your lovely message in your blog thank you very much ..... muaaaaaahh*hugs* and maklang for your entry also yesterday.Kaklady tak terlambat ucapkan pagi tadi .... ni lah yang membuatkan saya lagi sayang pada kekawan di alam maya ni.Kita saling cinta antara satu dgn lain...keep it up!! Walau pun jauh di mata tapi dekat dihati:)
In sg nurses day is on 1st August tapi kerena majikan kedekut hampeh!!!

Tadi bila kepasar uncles kat stall ikan tanya 'eh hari ni kena masak ke?'...abeh kalau tak masak cam mana nak makan kan? Sape lah ajak keluar makan lain lah kalau ada anak sendiri lagi pun celebration ni tak lah gitu wajib kan?

Hari ni masak macam biasa takde yang special .... masak taucu telur,sotong masak kunyit dan cuba membuat recipe baru 'tahu & fish paste' yang di kukus.Recipe bolih di lihat di dapur kakelle .....

Thank you Simah and family for the lovely presents send to me through my nephew Rudi last week and finally I got it after 4 days of waiting.

Simah what you have given me no words can describe my feelings now...its too much compared to what I have given you!! and once again thank you,thank you,terima kasih banyak-banyak:)How am I going to repay your kindness?Rudi you better tell me when you are going to Turkey again.

These are the things that Simah has given me ..... take a look don't you think they are pretty?
Sweet simah you shouldn't have spend so much just turkish delight will do:)

The title above as stated was a disappointment for me and Norabella today.The past few nights I have been surfing for interflora to send flower to maklang for her birthday and one night when I was Yming with her and did ask her is Jerteh same as Kerteh? dia kata Jerteh kat Kelantan....lah cause ada delivery to Jerteh.Last night Nora happened to be online and I was talking to her my intention of sending the flowers and she was keen to join in too.In the end we managed to find one but maybe it was late she can't get through.Early this morning she called from the office and sms me to say successful!!We were happy and thinking wah mesti maklang terperanjat ni terima bunga:)Konon2 dah sampai lah bunga tu I pun cek lah my mobile kot ada sms from maklang to thank us for the flowers tu.


Unfortunately Nora sms and say that the florist called at 4pm and say Kerteh is out of their area for the delivery its too far!!!B@***@ punya company siang2 bukan nak cakap!!! Nak buat cam mana ni?

I had no choice but to call paklang and do me a favour of buying for us the cake for maklang....ala hp off ... oh no!!time was running and I feel bad....dah lah parcel tu tak pos lagi ingat ada flower.

At around 7.30pm I YM with maklang and told her abt the surprise yg tak menjadi tu....we feel bad and also hurt with the florist.Told her also abt calling paklang abt getting the cake!!

She told me he is in the studyroom call him ler so I did and told him abt it he was going out anyway and was most happy to do it for me...thank you paklang:) birthday girl want cheese cake from Awana and he drove there but cake elek..habis...takde!!lagi hampa....ahh...he gonna drive to sweden...eh jauh tu ke sweden nak beli cake...bukan sweden di eropah tapi kedai dia nama sweden ..... hahaha..... and alhamdulillah ada pulak ..... cake blueberry cheesecake.

Paklang you are one in a million willing to do this for me and Nora we thank you from the bottom of our hearts ...betul tak Nora?...pssssssssssst....$$$ nanti bayar ok?and I love you for being a sport!! maklang jgn jeles eh ni love pasal tolong belikan cake aje....hehehe

Maklang this hand bouquet could have been yours but nevertheless cake - cake lah kan?

Jenganan for lunch.

Today too lazy to go down to the market since I've bought few stuff from the supermart yesterday and afterall still have some chicken,meat and seafood in the freezer.

The jenganan sauce is instant just add water and asam juice so thats why ler eager to do it for lunch.

Fried macroni for the children,the colour look pedas actually its the tomato ketchup trick. ... the prawns was too large so I cut them into half....hahaha

Its a lovely sunny day today and I think every mothers in the neighbourhood are happy to have their laundries out flying just like me:)

I took my camera out and decide to take some shots from my 7th floor unit .... well I don't have good camera like mama sarah or ajzie but this digi cam has been my good buddy for my shots so far betul tak mulan?

I am lucky that my nephew Rudi was going to Istanbul ..... he told me about his flight schedules and that he will be flying to Dubai/Istanbul on 30th April.The first thing that strike me was to ask if he can bring something for Simah?He was most willing and apa lagi isi punya isi lah barang2 but of course SIA crew pun ada limit juga.Thats why ler Simah tak bolih bagi lebih dari tu.....lain kali ek?

Today I try doing something new with eggs ... I saw my colleague Fiona eating this one day at lunch and first time I'm seeing this dish.She bought it from the chinese stall and she told me how they cook it.

I try to improvise it by garnishing it with minced beef and chili with spring onion and fried shallots.

Since it has to be steamed I am going to call this dish

TELUR KUKUS BERLAUK .




The texture is very smooth just like silk tofu and taste yummylicious too.

Update.
Wednesday 2nd May @ 7am.

Ni baru masak untuk di bawa ke clinic untuk makan bersama Fiona and Adah.Kali ni guna 4 biji telur and alhamdulillah nampak cantik juga tapi rasa belum tau lagi!!

Maklang,Simah and Faizah good idea for breakfast eh?....haha
