Weekend escaped.......


From my previous entry as mentioned my sisters Ram and Aini and families and myself drove up to KL for the weekend.Our main intention was to meet up with my uncle and aunty who live in Klang and whenever when we are in KL we will invite them out for dinner.


Ram and bro in law Saat had to leave on friday with her mother in law and aunt a day ealier on friday as the aunty in KL passed away on thursday night.So on saturday morning 7 of us left for KL @ 6am hoping not to be caught in the jam at the check point but we were indeed and it took us almost 45 minutes to get through the custom and immigration.
The drive was smooth and we finally arrived at the hotel at 12.30pm and whilst on the way I smsed Ummi365 of our progress and we finally arranged to meet at the Pavillion which is across from the Marriot where were staying for the night.Luck was with us as 3 out 4 rooms were ready for us to check in ... norm procedure check in time is usually at 3pm.

We had 2 of these rooms above and 2 with king size bed....3 rooms were on same floor whilst the other was on the 27th floor and thats where the 3 men (2 youngmen) slept.
I shared room with Aini and Adriana,next to us is Ram's MIL and aunt and Ram 2 doors away.

Since our blogger friends meeting was delayed to late afternoon we decide to have lunch first and where did we go???? haha...non other Planet Hollywood and whats more Citibank card holders get 50% off certain meals ... and when we convert oh boy it was damn cheap lah.

After lunch we strolled to Lot10 and Isetan was having sale on certain items and my Total Woman was having clearance of betw 10 -70% ... wow! wow! my size a plenty .....so like mad woman I grabbed as much ..... then this morning soon after breakfast I went again and betw yesterday and today I kind of buy about 40 pieces of tops and skirts and my pocket really burnt badly I spent RM$1.5K itself.




My investment in KL ... seeing is believing kan? I almost buy the whole of Total Woman dept.....hahaha .... its worth spending the $$$ esp those on 40-70% discount.After shopping on saturday we sat the DOME for coffee and finally got back to the hotel at 4.30pm to take quick nap and shower.


Finally meeting of the gang ...... bloggers ummi365, kaklady,sya and Hazia and some of their children at 6.30pm....Sya saw me first and kind of ran towards me gave a big hug followed by kaklady and finally ummi...its first time meeting ummi and hope they will be many more to come.
Hazia joinned us soon after as she too has been busy all day but made time to meet me.

It was real happenings at foodcourt at the PV .... I am sure you can guess who and who .... now I don't beleive when ummi365 say she is fat !!! my god she so slim lah......and yg malu-malu tu is kaklady and sya.


I had my long awaited hot-plate chicken noodle ... thank you ummi you paid for me kan or issit kaklady?and Hazia thanks for the drink too and sya for that yummylicious durian tarts....I was still full after the lunch at planet hollywood.


We proceed to the Marriot after they finished their prayers as I brought some kacang phool for them as buah tangan....and cikmilah I went to another shop and managed to get 10 tins.Sorry ye friends thats all that I can bring this time.

hehehe lasak semua nya in my room bukan je anak2 happy mak2 pun ikut sama ...... hahaha

btw baju yg I pakai tu baru beli kat isetan tau after lunch ... tak sabar nak pakai.

Thank you ladies for making time to come and meet me at short notice and those who couldn't make it jgn jeles ye tengok gambar2 ni ...... and to the children ummi's kakak,abang and ilan,kaklady's Fareez and Sya's anak dara Anis and Amiza sorry aunty didn't buy anything for you people and hope the green packet is ok ye?

I was hoping to meet some bachelors to date but it seems everyone still busy with the raya open houses etc but I did get to meet these 2 who are just as handsome and still available....

Last minute ......




A sudden decision was made on sunday morning after my brother Fandi called me and at 11.30am we made our way to this place ......




Genting Higland.....







Soon after this boy above .... Haziq Irfan finishes his madrasah at 10.30am .....





Actually my sis Lina already booked for 2 rooms in June school holiday and due arwah bapak was taken ill suddenly she cancelled the dates till now yesterday being youthday the children are off school and that include me too no school no work...hehe .....so what better time to take a break even if its just for a day.





All the way from Johor I start to knit the above for this lady who requested for this colour ... and thank god tak mabok pun:)

I smed her when I was at GH sahja nak buat dia jeles that I am so near to her .... hahaha.... sori eh ummi don't have time to meet up afterall its a sudden trip to drive up.... maybe next time ok?

I also smed kaklady too that I am so near and yet so far .... kaklady 2 kali saya past by SA nak ke Klang jumpa my auntie and uncle.

I didn't do much shopping when I was on holiday but I what I bought and where the $$$ gone to I just can't remember *sengaja tak nak tau*....hehe
We shop when we get the chance and opportunity as we are on the road most time.

Things are not that cheap to buy as when you try to times 2 ...amboi mahal nya? but when you are on holiday we can't think in that way or we end up buying nothing at all.Mineral water in general is expensive 2 euros per bottle and thats S$4 and malaysia will be RM$8 .... mahal kan?but we need to drink so thats where the $$ gone too in a way too.Food are just as expensive I had rice and a piece of grilled fish with potatoes for 12 euros and thats S$24....wow! tapi nak makan kan?

I bought lots of tees for nephews and nieces and personally I only got disney tees for myself.
The last minute in London I went down to Peacocks down the road from the hotel for a half an hour shopping as we have to leave the hotel at 10 am for the airport and I managed to grabbed a few items there and my gosh they carry my size unfortunately not enough time otherwise I could have bought the whole shop!!.....haha

Here are some of the stuff I bought and gifts from my sister and bro in law......thank you.
Most of the purchases were given out so no pictures.

After 3 weeks I finally did the marketing today and I bought siput sedut to cook besides cooking lontong.The other day we celebrated father's day at Hajjah Maimunah Restaurant .. this place is famous for their traditional cooking and Kam ordered 2 bowls of the lemak cili siput sedut and I rasa tak puas mlm tu and moreover you can't really sucked it so much considering being in a restaurant.So today I had the whole lot of them for myself as the sisters don't eat them:)I also learn to eat them lately..dulu geli juga:)

My freezer is now back to its full bream again with fish,chicken,meat,prawns,sotong and frozen karipap.Its back to cooking again after a good holiday too.

Life must go on ........

Paris the city of Lights after travelling for more than 3 hrs from Brussels we finally arrived and driving through Charles De Gaulle ain't easy the traffic was bad we were all very tensed as everyone want to shop and Lafayette the only deparmental store that closes at 7pm that saturday.We had hardly an hour to shop and everyone went their separate ways...I ended up getting an Easypak bag and mind you mahal 99 euros ...yes another luggage to put the new purchases that I accumulate in the last 5 countries....hehe....rambang mata kot:)Well my 2 sisters bought their branded bags and shoes I met my 2 nieces as we were browsing and gave them each 25euro to spend ...hehe...they rushed last minute and ended getting new shoes at the last minute!!That night first tasty meal of the trip .... thai dinner and the tomyam soup was superb!

The next morning we start our local halfday tour visiting Napoleon Arc De Triumphe,passing thru' Champs Elyse Blvd,Eiffel Tower,Norte Dome,etc.....and finally the Pragonard Perfumery ....hmmmm....heavenly smell and I bought for myself some perfumes and toilette water.

After this we were on our own and we already made plan to go to Disneyland whilst the rest of them chinese head to shopping again.We got a hired car for 10 of us to drive and fetch us back for 220 euros.The entrance to both world cost 58 euros each.The children had their fun ... best place on earth.

London was our last stop before flying back to S'pore thru' Istanbul.We left Paris by the Eurostar to London at 9.10am.Here at the hotel we bid farewell to Peter the coach driver who has been with us the last 13 days driving from Italy,Austria,Germany,Switzerland,Holland,Belgium and finally France.Peter made us sign our names on the Tour Sign Board for his memory.

We reached London at 11.40am after 2 and half hours of travelling.....yes we are in London at last.We were taken on city tour and finally check into the hotel at Ibis Earls Court at 5pm.I sms kak teh to inform her I have arrived and also mama sarah.That evening Aini,Kam,Adriana and myself stayed back at the hotel whilst Ram and Saat took the 4 teenagers out to Piccadily Circus. shopping and dinner.Kam bought rice and curry for me for dinner.

Thank you mama sarah for the lovely chat and also my ex-collegue Angie and a big thank you kak teh for making time to see me at the hotel and thank you also for the lovely bracelet. I could have brought more things for you but bag dah penuh....hehe...hope you enjoy the instant peanut sauce tak lagi terliuh bila masuk my daily happenings:)

The London stay was too short ..... London I'll come back again one day:)

My special thanks to sis Aini and bro in law Kam for the lovely holiday and all the beautiful and expensive gifts you both bought for me whilst on holiday.To sis Ram and bro in law Saat for the extra cash you gave me to spend....thank you all:)

Amsterdam another a must visit and I don't mind coming here again if given the opportuniy.No problem with food and place just as clean.We had a great 2 days stay at the Holiday Inn Schiphol which is two and half weeks old only everything in the rooms are brand new with plasma tv...

We enjoyed the Amsterdam visit and bought lots of hand painted souvenirs and overall things here are much cheaper esp at the fishing village of Voladam(excuse of spelling maybe wrong).The village is facing the north sea and quiet.We saw the queen summer palace and more churches of course:)

We spent time at the dam square browsing thru' the shops and also went on the glass-domed motor launch cruising down canals flanked by gabled houses and mind that day was so hot!!We also visited adutch village at Zaanse Schan visiting a cheese farm and clog making factory.

Lastly the Gassan Diamond house where both sisters had diamond rings made and poor me nothing but Kam and Aini gave me a Swatch watch as a bonus....haha....thank you once again.Oh boy I do look fat and rounded with 3 layers of tops gosh how ugly....must go on diet lah but today when I went to work my weight still same .... ah must be the layers of bajusssssssss.....hehe......




After breakfast in Amsterdam we start our journey down to Belgium stopping in Brussels for lunch....not bad eh b'fast in Amsterdam and lunch in Brussels:)

Bruseels is just a stop before we reach Paris for dinner....ho...ho...ho....3 meals in 3 different countries.We drove by the Royal Palace before arriving the city and saw the mascot of the naked pee boy but fortunately he had his clothes on that morning....haha
The market square is just beautiful with flowers and plants for sale....mak lang if you were there sure to buy lah:)

Soon after lunch we proceed to the city of lights - PARIS.

Austria a beautiful place indeed passing thru' the lake district onwards to Salsburg.
Visited the Mirabelle Palace and garden where the'Sound of Music' was shot.Mozart Square where he was born and the house still remain and now his museum.At last we found a seafood joint and really enjoyed our meals and my lunch cost me 16 euros just for fish and small portion of rice!!!



Germany .... we travel thru' Schafthausan to view the Rhine Falls-largest waterfall in in western europe:)then we onwards to Black Forest arrive at resort of Titisee largest Cuckoo Clock Centre and view how they make the cuckkoo clock.After that we moved on to Prince City of Heidelberg to view the caste from far from the Old Bridge.Staying one noght at NH Viernheim unfortunately Ajzie is 4 hours by train so no meeting instead we spoke on the phone and the sambal kacang(instant)became our lunch the next day....haha

Next morning on our way to Holland we stop in Cologne unfortunately it was a PH so all shops closed much to my dismay....saw a shoes shop that was cheap too...wuah...wuah...a gothic religious ceremony was on going too.

Travel to Pisa for the famous leaning tower ..... kah kah kah .... amazing but just small place but plenty of pick-pockets my sis Ram saw a man been picked unknown to him then it was too late ..... plenty of indians selling stuff.

I dropped my beautiful brown crystal bracelet at this place too good luck to the lucky person who find it....sob...sob...






Florence a beautiful place too as usual what we see are more churches and castles....europe full of them.Cathedralof Santa Maria Del Flora with its pink,white and green marble facade is just too beautiful.



Venice was on day 3 and a change for once, we had to take a ferry to get to Venice and all along I always thought Venice is on the mainland and not an island.Beautiful place all old houses with only a small boat or gondola to get by.I saw few hotels there too - a convert from all those old houses.I definately won't stay there.... hehe... the younger generations have moved out leaving only oldfolks.Plenty to shop too and we went to a glass showroom and Kam paid for our earrings and I had 2 sets .... haha and he and Aini also bought for me glass gondola only until last nite I saw it as it was packed so as not too break whilst travelling.We stayed in an old villa which was converted to a hotel.Its furniture are real antigue look as you can se from the bedroom furnishing.

An experience not to forget being in the gondola if you see how dirty the lanes are - just close one eye .... haha

Surprisingly Venice has lots of shooping for tourist esp with branded names and knowing we may not have time in Paris since we only will arrive on saturday after lunch Aini decide to buy some from Venice and lucky me got a set of Furla handbag and matching wallet...thank you Kam and Aini and its not cheap too more than 300 euros.Ram too got a new Furla handbag from them and Aini bought for herself one too.






Switzerland to the joy of the children and adults esp at Mt.Titlis and we were lucky it rains the day before so we can get more snow the next day....hehe

From Austria we travel up to Switzerland and stayed for 2 whole days.Here more $$ were spent by the Jellanies esp you know who lah....haha.We also meet up with my sister Maria and bro in law Johan who happen to be in Europe at the right time.So from 10 Jellanies we have 12 now and stayed at same hotel too as planned.Beautiful town of Lucerne did some shopping at Swarovski and I bought a set of chain with pendant and earrings.I think Aini and Ram bought the most:) Including Rolex and Omega watches .... haha .... the children got for themselves swatch watches too.Not forgetting swiss chocolates too:)

We had to change to differents cable cars to get to this peak and seeing the scene from high above was just too beautiful.The kids had a whale of time even sleeping on the cold snow.

At last after 14 days from home I am back to home sweet home .... we had a nice holiday indeed inspite of the rush everyday....we leave early from the hotel to go places soon after breakfast.Infact I didn't get good sleep at all the first 3 days as we normally will get back to hotel late after dinner and leave very early the next day.In most of my pictures you can see how tired I look ....like a zombie!!

We left Changi Airport at 11.30pm for Istanbul by Turkish Airline and the flight took 10 long hours direct .... arriving half an hour ahead of time....sms Simah and then she calls my mobile but unfortunately the line was bad that she could hardly hear me .... hehe.

We left 2 hours later for Rome ....oh my goodness how dirty looking I find Rome!!they preserved all old buildings and ruins.The roads are narrow and we've been warned about pickpockets so everyone keep their bags close to their bodies.

We get no bath or wash and upon arrival in Rome we begin our tour .... oh my poor body and legs.We visited 3 place in one day and towards our last stop at the Spanish Steps I nearly collapsed....we had to climb I think about almost 150 steps to get to the top and as you know my poor knees just couldn't do it anymore....I had to stop in between and with my sister Ram and bro in law's encouragement and who stayed with me I finally reached the top and thats with a bottle of mineral water...I was sweating and my heart was beating so fast that I just want to give up .... but no way I had to reach the top as the bus is waiting to take us to dinner and finally check into our hotel at the HOTEL ANAGNINA

Here are pictures taken from my camera day one in Rome when we visited the Coloseum where gladiators fought before then to the famous Vatican states but the Pope only comes on wednesday for blessings.A beautiful place inside the decor and workmanship of human hands that took 150 yrs to complete.The Spanish steps and St.Peter's Basllica to make our wish at the fountain...haha....

My photos showed how tired I was without proper sleep last 28 hours ..... eye bags showing so badly and most of all no shower upon arrival:)





I also get to meet Kak Teh and her friend Aishah who is in London,they came to visit me at the hotel where I was staying and we had coffee at the pub.Kak Teh thank you for finding time to meet me knowing how busy you are and besides you are not well too.Thank you very much for the lovely bracelet you gave me.

The day finally arrive to leave for our 2 weeks break in Europe and of course this holiday will not materialise if not for the kind generosity of sister Aini and bro in law Kam.....thank you...thank you.....semoga balasan nya di akhirat...amin.

I am yet to pack my luggage and so far I have all light clothing to pack but now it seems the weather a changing and was advised to bring some cardigans and coat.....ah leceh nya kan?Ingat light clothing will give more space so bolih lah berjoli shopping!!!....hehe

I think the trip gonna be fun especially when you are with your siblings,my sister Ram and bro in law Saat with their teenagers Shafiqah and Shafigue.Sister Aini and bro in law Kam with their 3 kiddos ..ooopssss teenagers Hannah and Hafiz and little Adriana who is 3 1/2.We will also be meeting my other sister Maria and hubby Johan who happened to be in europe for the French open in Paris and we will be meeting in Lucerne - Switzerland.....so its gonna be fun...fun...fun.

Eventhough I will be away having a good time never the less I haven't forgotten all of you lovely friends in the blogland.You will always be in my heart and my mind.......Rina Jordan this is 4 u and also maklang yg ngah bercuti kat Penang tu agak ngah syiok makan nasi kandar eh maklang?.....ni parcel belum lagi sampai2 hai kempunan lah saya nak makan serunding daging masakkan maklang.......kaklady I masih ingat kat you and thanx for msgs left on YM:)and Mulan too for the msgs left behind....hope you are feeling bettter now.

Simah keep your molibe on -will sms you when I transit in Istanbul.....jgn you syiok tido pulak tak dengar kang bunyi handphone ..... hehehe

Kak Teh wait for me ok?......hehehe.....yes I hope to meet our famous blogger non other than kak teh in London insya'allah.

Ajzie the 4 hours trip is too far better not kesian ... takpe kita jumpa when you are back in Malaysia nanti.

Musliha we see you and Dahlia in Amsterdam insya'allah.....can't wait to see my cucu(3rd generation)....hahaha

Oh wow its gonna be a long entry since I won't be blogging for the next 2 weeks but if time permits and if I can find a computer may update a short entry wherever I am.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the followings.

2nd June to bro in law Kam ... hey we going to party in Venice lah.

3rd June to Dr.Nur Izzah aka easylady....happy birthday to you:)..cantik hadiah dari maklang tu kan?

4th June to my sister Lina and Dr Sa'adah aka Adah and to both of you happy happy birthday yg ke ...... semoga dimurakan rezeki dan di panjangkan umur.Adah I will claim my lunch from you when I get back.....hahaha

6th June to my sis in law Sabariah.....selamat hari jadi.....dinner kat mana?eat my share for me ok?

and to anyone else who is celebrating their birthdays in this month June too.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF YOU LOVELY PEOPLE.

To Norabella who will be going for a surgery on 8th June .... here's wishing you a speedy recovery and hope the surgery will be uneventful.Jangan takut kang blood pressure to naik tinggi kena tangguh pulak surgery tu .... will think of you on that day and I think I am in Amsterdam....nanti I cakap kat tulips tu suruh terbang kat Norabella's ward.

Almost done packing but looks like I have to take some out to give room for some warm clothing.
Hand luggage to carry some extra light change in Rome as we won't check into hotel till late .... nampak tak mandi lah satu hari sesampai Rome kami terus pergi sight-seeing.....

Count down 3 days to go ......

I was up early this morning before the crack of dawn....ntah mata ni tak bolih tutup....so I decide to clean up the cupboard that was crying desperately pleaseeeeeeeeee clean me up!!!Actually was looking for stuff to bring with me for the holiday.......hehe
Kaklady barang I cari dulu dah jumpa skg .....

I washed some of the things that I want to use then get the luggage out from the wardrobe from the next room and at last more or less half the job done.I was told its hot now so decide to bring tees and jeans only except for the alps some thick pull over and jacket.I put in 10 tees and some night clothes and as for undies buy disposables so much easier esp for 2 wks mana nak cari laundry to wash?and by the look of it all the days we will be on the road and sightseeing.

Now the sad part we will be in Paris sat and sunday where most of the boutigues will be close .... sob...sob... how to do shopping ah?Fazia anywhere I can do shopping on sunday?hehe....maybe we will end up going to Disneyland:)

Maybe will buy in Rome from the Steps.Ni cakap2 duit pun belum tukar lagi......ok must do it tomorrow at lunch time cause in the evening the 3 money changers at JP will be packed esp now school holiday.


Diam tak diam dah sampai pun hari nya kan? Masa berlalu terlalu cepat kan?
