Hi everyone I am back to earth now after the PGLMusical....masih teringat2 the show...but all good things must come to an end.Nora jeles gua you got their autograph and dapat pergi 2nd time some more...eh bahasa apa ni ...half english half malay?no sweat as long those who read my entry understand....hehehe....

On sunday I attended 2 wedding ceremonies,mm...its typical that during the school holidays we get lots of wedding invitations.The first was of an ex colleague's son we were there during the bersanding and thought the kompang was something different because after the bridal couple was seated on the pelamin these group of boys sang to them like in dikir barat.My first impression oh this is something unique and different.

My surprise was at the second wedding I went to and this is the wedding of my bro in law's Saat niece .... now thats the reason why I went to see PGLM on the first nite because Saat and family will be busy saturday and sunday for the wedding function.This is a typical javanese wedding with everything thrown in kuda kepang,barongan,pencak silat and everything including the bridal outfits.It was a real traditional adat...unfortunately I don't have my camera with me otherwise I will be like a mad woman clicking away at every corners.I have some pictures here taken by a friend who happen to have a camera with her .... well folks seeing is believing!!The pelamin itself was gorgeous .... if only I brought my camera....uwaahh....here's some pictures for
your viewing and tell me what you think of it..ok?

Pictures compliment from Adah .... I pinjam her SD card to upload the pictures to my laptop.Just look at that grand pelamin and I was told the decoration for majlis termasuk kerusi meja and pelamin cost S$4K.....ish what a waste of $$ kan?but the bride is first family wedding so like the malay saying'besar2ran lah:)

This is my sister Ram and bro in law Saat who sponsor my ticket.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lets hope PINKY will come too bolih blanja lagi tak??

We watch PGL Musical and its really really bestttttt.....I give 5* for a very good show.It was full house and the show lasted for 3 whole hours.I really admire Tiara Jacquelina she is superb!!In fact the whole casts were really good.If given a chance I would love to watch a second time....hehe......memang tak rugi its worth going.How often do we get to watch a malay musical?and I thank them for coming to Singapore to do the show.They received the loudest ovation from the crowd.Unfortunately the queque for autograph signing was very long and they only have 30 minutes to do it so we gave up meeting the cast as it was already very late and we decide to snap a picture with the poster instead. I got home around midnight after sending my niece Huda first.

Tomorrow Norabella will be going and Adah on sunday and ladies you will enjoy it as much as I did......have fun!!No regrets memang best ......

Its past my bedtime and I have to work tomorrow so ciao for now.

This is a special request put forward by MAKLANG and NORABELLA from my last entry. Ok with this picture I declared that the birthday wishes by cik tikus is valid from Nov 2006 till Nov 2007.Pada sesiapa yang akan menyambut hari lahir di haribulan yg tersebut kamu tidak di-lupakan enjoy your birthday and have a nice day:) and wishing everyone a many many many happy return of the day......hahaha.....so sekarang no reason I repeat no reason to be jelesssssssssss of others....kah...kah...kah

This picture say a thousand words ..... its every parents dream that their children get straight A's in their exam.Friends in Malaysia had their share when the UPSR results was announced last week.Faces of happiness and excitement of both parents and child and congratulations to those who had 5A's but that doesn't mean if you don't get 5A's you are no good.You have done your best and no one can tell what the future may bring rite?Excell and study hard and with His Blessing you may succeed.

Tomorrow 23rd Nov 2006 is d day for parents and students as the PSLE result will be announced at noon.Yes we are recycling the excitement all over again,the anxiety waiting for tomorrow- is it the students or parents? Parents please accept whatever result the child get he/she has studied like the picture above may it A* or A or B-they did their best.Its true with good result the child can go to good popular school but neighbourhood schools are also good too.

My nephew Shafique will be getting his result too and I wish him all the best and hope he too will get good result..I know you have studied for your exams and you said the maths paper was quite tough and we will know tomorrow.To my good friend and colleague Adah relax M will get A's don't worry you saw him put his efforts studying so nothing can go wrong.Sleep well tonite and don't think about it....hehe...I know its easy said than done.

The last 3 wks we've been eating too much of rich food because of hari raya and even open houses have all the yummy food.So for today I decide to have something different or perhaps I am too lazy to cook and infact since yesterday I told FT that I will cook nasi bryani today and will bring it to work tomorrow if there's any left ... haha.. so sorry FT another time ok?

So today I decide to do .......... taraaaaaaaaaaa.........its nasi jenganan.Gosh can't remember when I last did this and to whoever siblings who drop by today langkah kanan lah ye:)

As for tonite or rather the children haven't decide yet....too bad if aunty too lazy - please learn to eat greens:)hehehe.....but I have frozen satay in the freezer maybe that will do kiddos.

The rain is pouring outside,crazy weather on minute the sun is hot and suddenly raining cats and dogs.I had no choice but rush to get my washing indoor.Bikin org kaget aje:) Ok folks its lunch time so will continue after my siesta......gonna be cleopatra and watch whatever on tv.

ok the jenganan was a sold out semua beres , elek , entek ..yes habis berseh...sekali2 makan macam ni mmg seronok.Luckily the children also ate them except for Adrianna the chubby cutie.

It's raining again and soon after my sisters and family left I did my ironing*whew* at least my basket is half empty now.Macam2 Aznil is on tv now and I do like to watch it esp when he interviews the children...unfortunately we are watching at least 1 month backdated shows.

Happy 18th Birthday to my dear niece Naz.

Last nite we had dinner at Tepak Sireh to celebrate Naz 18th birthday.....suka2 aje.The food was good we had rendang daging,ayam goreng,satay,salad,dendeng daging berladoh and soup bontot.The dinner was not planned it was a last minute decision as always.My battery went flat so not much pictures taken but I can siphon from the other nieces....hehe

My dear father is home and he bought for each daughters a blouse each:) I'm yet to try mine but by the look of it a bit small but anyway thanks bapak for being thoughtful.The remote control now is back to its original place near his special seat:(

To kak lady and mak andeh congratulations to both of you for the 5A's that Farhan and kakak achieved in the UPSR.....tahniah..tahniah...

oh no ..... time is running need to shower and off to work.

To dear Simah do I still look like a 'boy"?....hahaha....the photos above was taken 2 yrs ago and tonite I use my panorama to combine them to give an overlap look.I guess the hair style still same only this time its been styled differently.Whats your opinion now?Like mother like daughter tak?Anyone in Turkey looking for soulmate I'm available Simah..kah..kah...kah

Sebetul mmg boring tonite nak baca tak minat nak watch tv nothing nice on....so play around with my laptop.To put an entry can't think of anything to write....someone heeellppppp.

My date was wrong father coming home tomorrow and not today,I got my date wrong...haha....remote still mine for another nite.Last night my sis woke me up at 11.15pm when I've just entered into dream land,she wants me to watch the 11.30pm news because my nephew's muka terpanpang on national news buang masa he only appeared less than 3 second!!I guess every parents will be excited when any of their prince or princess are on tv.

Nora are we suppose to dress up to go watch PGLM?hehe.....the answer is YES ... no casual allowed actually I was thinking just to slip into pants and tees..mmm....looks like I have to wear one of my raya outfit ek?

Time to go and to watch my Cinta Q so till then nite-nite

Today is the last day for me to hold the remote control because tomorrow he is coming home from his 1 week holiday.There goes the chance of watching my own shows esp Discovery channel.Sometimes I wonder how come I am paying for all these and yet I don't get a chance to watch my own shows ( ade juga ingat nak terminate aje after 10 yrs) tapi tak sampai hati pulak,see I am not that mean afterall .... hahaha..... Above is a picture of me at age 16months with both my loving parents but mak passed away 15 yrs ago due to AMI and we all miss her so much...al-fathihah untuk mu.

Oh I'd better clean a bit of his room and make his bed at least when he comes home he sees that his bed sheet are changed...mmmm...I am the owner of the apartment,daughter and MAID.Its not easy having to stay with an elder - they are very sensitive people on earth who always think they are right and we are wrong tak pernah nak mengalah.Thats one reason I keep to myself when I am home , stay in my room and watch tv or go online and do everything else in my room.Its better to avoid conversation nanti TER cakap salah merajuk pulak.Friends did ask me how come I don't talk much to him?I really don't know .. maybe nothing in common to talk about?its so different when weekends come he is talking non stop to my sisters and brothers in law and at same time remote tu dlm tangan dia kejap2 tukar channel.....hahahaha.... don't get me wrong I am not complaining only pouring my heart out:) who knows ada orang kesian kat I..kah..kah..kah... No matter he is my father and I love him truly without him I won't be here.

Nothing much happen these few days except at work been quite busy as we are short of one staff and since last week practically I've been coming home late as I didn't get to leave the clinic till 6.45 and at one time at 7.15pm and by the time I reach home it was pretty late.Sometimes patients ni pun satu suka nya datang last minute tapi kekadang doc nya pulak taking too much time seeing the patients:) hmm...nasib baik dapat claim OT - not much but at least something.
Its not easy to get staff who will stay for long now a days they are like rolling stones they hop from one job to another.I think our generation are more dedicated -we work and really put our heart into it.Don't you agree?

Wow 10 more days to Putri Gunung Ledang The Musical,I am looking forward for the show.The tickets are sold out and due to public demand they are having extra show on saturday at 2pm.I will be watching on the opening night lets hope we get to meet the casts at the end of the show.H E L L O Norabella and Adah.. hehe.. I am first to watch it....joking lah folks whether its opening night or finale night its going to be a good show and to both of you hope you will enjoy the show as much as I will.

I survive so far being alone at home,my niece spend a nite on thursday after her class and we had rice and sambal sotong for dinner.Her coming was to collect her new sim card ( I pay her bills) and if the bill get too high I will hold the sim card and suspend it for few months!! which happened twice in the last 2 yrs.They always promise but never did it always exceed the plan!!poor me kan? pay and pay and pay..........

Nothing much to write except a friend's blog no longer exist I wonder why? He writes well always on current topics and the going ons of life which I find very interesting where one can learn.Whatever the reason for the sudden farewell I wish all the best to you and family and if time permits DO COME BACK TO BLOGGING WILL YOU...hope you are reading this.I miss your celoteh lah.

The weekend is here again and I am damn too lazy to bring my butt to go to the market afterall I don't need anything as the freezer is still full.I hope no visitors today as I want to laze all day and watch tv - don't forget I have the remote to myself till wednesday....hahaha....but then I can't as I have some office work to do YES I have homework!!cleaning of wardrobe can wait again period.

Weatherwise hasn't been good lately it rains everyday this week a blessing to some a bother to others esp those with children as the washing need to be hanged to dry.I am lucky as I have a dryer but this little monster electricity usage is high so I only use it when there's no chance of seeing the sun at all.Talking of electricity I know its going be high this month because yesterday I left for work without switching off the aircond in the room..so forgetful lah!As we get older alahai jadi pelupa pulak betul tak?anyone having same problems?

The school holiday is here again and those with children have a nice and good time with them eventhough it will gives you headache.If you are going to any holiday resorts have a good break and holiday.

I decide to have a new look as I find the previous too bare and OMG with a new skin my blog name been auto changed to Asian Blossom pulak....afterall I am an asian kan?
Its not easy to have a new interior lots of copy and paste and choosing of colour scheme...luckily my niece Huda is here to help out and show the rope.I would give up if I were to do it myself...thanx Huda nanti I belanja you kita pergi HRC ok? anyone else nak ikut?

A bit of good news my BIL Kam is doing fine,he is more alert and picking the pieces.The blockage may take months to dissolve and insya'allah I hope it won't take that long.The short memory comes and goes and so far he is doing well.Aini has gone back to work and since its school vacation for the secondary school Hannah and Hafiz are around to keep their father company.

Another weekend is here again I find the time going too fast to catch up don't you think so?There are so much to do and nothing done ....urgghhh!I'm suppose to clean up my wardrobe things are piling up and I am just too lazy to start and do you know my 4 doors builtin wardrobe is fulled to the brim and it overflows into the guest room..aiyaya....before raya I clean the the guess room wardrobe and has given to my sis some of baju kurong that I hardly wear and I think I gave her about a dozen good quality baju....entah lah I seem so malassssssssss.

To all my friend and family a happy weekend no more jalan raya lah ok ... duk rumah and rest.

Yes I am home alone for the next 1 week , my dad's gone to Jakarta to meet up with old friends or issit cewek2 ...... haha

Home alone gives me the freedommmm yeah!!I get to hold the remote control and change channels as I wish otherwise its him controlling it from CNN,BBC & SPORTS CHANNEL except for monday night he somehow got hooked to Hikmah.Poor me have no chance to watch my favourite movies on cables as my tv in the room only caters local and malaysian channels only...but once again how often to I watch tv??most time I am online when I am home surfing and reading and blog hopping so can't complain rite?

Food will be easy cooking for me as I will be eating alone too apa lagi maggi mee lah...or maybe junk food from the fast food chains.Come to think of it I have stock enough of those instant rempah2 I bought last week.Last saturday I bought ready to eat satay cukup dgn sambal satay for $4/- per pack and its not bad and I will buy some more this sunday when I go down to the market.Here are some pictures of those ready instant rempah and mind you it tastes so nice and I thank these wonderful people for inventing them.What to do for busy working people like us mana ada time nak buat rempah2 so instant rempah comes to the rescue except for my adik kat Kerteh tu dia rajin buat rempah sendiri...betul tak mak lang?

I had friends over couple of months ago and I made mee rebus(kuah instant)and they loved it thinking I did the rempah myself which I used too.These group of friends are all guys whom I stayed with when I went to New Zealand twice as they had to stay there to qualify for a PR status and I did the cooking when I was there and come to think of it wherever I go I seemd to be doing the cooking .... hehehe....to Sya if you reading this nanti I dtg KL will cook for you the sambal jawa:)

The week that was hectic,busy and no time to rest.I was fortunate to get annual leave being the only muslim staff so there's no one to fight with:)I took a few days before and 2 days after raya.The week that I dread every year:( going to the market to buy stuff for my rempah ratus and the few days before raya to buy my wet stuff for the cooking.Every morning I had to go down to the market to buy bit by bit as I don't think I can manage getting everything at one go for the reason I have no HELP!! Everything I have to do on my own ... so sad kan?

Chicken and meat bought the week before as it can keep for few months in the freezer.The heaviest load is the lontong even with a trolley its heavy and I don't stay on a lift landing so imagine me dragging the trolley one floor down.Alhamdulillah with good time table I managed and get things organised.Serunding need to be done few days earlier and that itself will take you half a day.

No baking of cookies or cakes which I used to do until 2 yrs ago when the oven went on strike ... yippee!! otherwise kek lapis itself kena buat 8 to give to siblings and for myself!kek lapis is very tedious job as we need to grill layer by layer.Everything now tunjuk2 aje kat bakery or sponsored by sister Lina kuih tarts and sis-in-law Saba famous amos cookies and sometimes almond london.The keropok and kerepek beli sahja lah.

The hectic week of standing on my feet resulted in an oedema left foot which I noticed last few days.Its probably water retention or dependant oedema - when at work I am on my feet except for 2 hrs in the afternoon when I sat at the pc to do my e-billing.At home I tried to rest as much in the evening by raising my foot and until this morning the swelling still there .... here's a picture taken an hour ago ........


Foot is oedema and red ..... haha... good excuse next year no need to do allllll the cooking and entertainingggg ..... maybe siblings should take turn to have father at their place for raya!!!What do you think friends of the blogland? Every child should do their share kan....kan....kan??? hahaha....... bagi lah this big sis a breakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.Or maybe I should raya with my sis kat states lagik.


Ok no more visiting for me and now masih ada juga yg beraya kat my place - the raya week was exam time for the children so no visiting as they have to do their revisions etc.......so terpaksa load freezer with food incase of emergency can whip some simple dishes.

Last of all need to diet back ..... the loss in ramadhan has gained doubled in syawal....OMG.....

Jom you are all invited to my humble shack for lunch saturday ... 4th Nov 2006.Untuk sesiapa yg sudi mari lah ke rumah untuk lunch tapi takde lontong,rendang etc pasal agak dah jelak seminggu asyik same menu kan?

So for this saturday am thinking of cooking nasi lemak,lontong goreng and tanghoon goreng(glass noodle) or mee rebus and probably epok2...how's that for the menu? ....mmm....kalau tak bolih .... nak masak apa pulak? call 62353535 .. haha.. satay pizza!!!!

Yes normally I have colleagues and friends over during hari raya but I couldn't do it last week so decide to do it this saturday instead.Cam mana kawan2 blogland free tak?
Norabella you just round the corner sudi kah you datang?....email me ok will give you my address and contact.

To Arif .... its a small world kan? hehehe .......thanx for the call *wink-wink*
