Preparations ......

Today nothing to write about nothing much happen yesterday - the sick bay was quiet too except for few students coming in for small things.Only managed to knit 2 headbands ... a bit slow huh?

Tonite my last day to clean up my guest room as they are arriving tomorrow evening by coach from Malacca.As you know balik kerja dah 7pm and tired and malas ..... hehehe
Yesterday bought few essentials things for the bathroom like children shampoo etc ....

Freezer well stocked just need fresh milk and yougarts for them ... and MOST OF ALL CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.We probably will be eating out mainly as they are here only for 3 nights.

This is my nephew Adam and family ..... cantik kan? another photoscape creations.

Will just you wait I am going to gomol(pinjam dari ummi365) you comes end of this year....hahahah

Headbands .......

I had a very quiet day at the school today ... as yr 5 students are having IB prelim so others are so co-operative keeping away from my room .... hahahaha

Guess what I did rite? knit...knit...knit ...... in between attending to minor complains from the students.I managed to finish 2.5 headbands ... I did the blue,pink and black today - a record time.

The display with help from photoscape .... yes I am getting alright after that trial and error.I hope to knit 2 more before I start my muffler soon.

The washing machine came at 7.30pm and it looks so small compared to the old one but who cares as long as it can wash my dirty linens :)Will snap the picture another day and show you my new toy....hehe

Back to.......

I am back to knitting baby bootie yesterday as requested by maklang for her new born niece.After this I have 2 scarf/muffler to knit then only I can resume with the headbands again.So sorry to those waiting for the headband ... tergendala sekejap ek ...

Washing machine pulak tak nak spin dry beberapa hari ni penat memeras maklum lah dah takde pembantu rumah terpakas alah buat sendiri semua.

I ask how much to repair and nowadays all machines are computerised so he says the motor need changing and it will cost $200 plus...the machine after 12.5 yrs is still very clean afterall only 1 pair of hand handles it until Wati came.So I decide to get a new one instead and it costs me $320 for a 6.5kg machine which is smaller than the previous one afterall I am alone now so a small capacity will do and of course there goes $$$$$ again.So come tomorrow night the new washing machine will be delivered and I can resume doing my washing esp the towels and bedsheet which need changing as I am having Simah and family this weekend.

I will take picture tomorrow once they install it.

Sunday morning .......

Alhamdulillah after being a vagabond at my sister's place for almost 10 days I finally came home yesterday.I have to learn to be alone not that I hasn't been alone before but this time I know bapak am never coming back unlike before when he went for a short holiday.Staying at another person home for too long a period may not be too good to the host or hostess liking even though they didn't voice out but as human being I understand ... extra person in the house!Thank you Aini and Kam for having me for such long period.

To Aini HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU today 27th July .... may you be blessed always.

After almost 3 weeks I went to the market this morning to stock my freezer as this weekend I am having Simah and children coming over to stay ... Istanbul to Penang and now Singapore.I can't wait for them to arrive to meet the bubbly Simah , pretty Hatice and cute Baddin.

As usual I bought fish,chicken,prawns and beef to stock besides odds and ends.......

I really envy those friends who put their pictures so beautifully using photoscape so I decide to learn too ..... hehehe .....and here's the result.

Plants at the market today and I bought cactus to put in my sick bay.

Fruits and I bought the banana and longans and longkong ..... that huge mango is from Taiwan it looks huge and nice but not sure if they are sweet.

And I bought 3 suits of baju kurung ... BIMLA is having offer and the ones I bought is 3 suits for S$100/- only 2 suits are mine the other to give someone and hope she likes it.

Cikmilah macam mana my photoscape trial?...hehehe ... berapa kali buat baru faham!!!Yes I YM with Cikmilah just now ... pagi2 sunday dapat juga chat ngan kekawan.

Photo Session ......

The last 3 days has been photo session days at the school - starting from year 1 students till this afternoon its for teachers and staff.They start from 9am till 6pm .... it ain't easy to put everyone in one place ...... today class was dismissed early so finallystaff can get their photo shoot done.

Happy 17th birthday .....

Happy 17th birthday to Nurul Shakira aka shasha and here's wishing you lots and lots of birthday to come.May you be successful in future and make your parents proud of you...study well and get your diploma.

New update...

If you've been following this blog I don't have good news as yesterday RG smsed me to inform me of the sad news.I have asked her permission to put it up as an entry.Her PET Scan result showed her cancer has spread to 4 other areas(which I will keep to myself for now) and she is now waiting for the surgeon to fixed asurgery date.She will also be going for chemotheraphy but unfortunately her veins collapsed so am looking for a 2nd port so chemo can begin soon.

To my dear sis RG be strong and we are here to give you moral support and wishing you all the best.What been install for us by HIM we can't avoid but will brace it gracefully.

To all my dear friends in the cyber world do put our hands together and pray for a miracle recovery for Raden Galoh.

The whole day yesterday I tried to finish this book above and alhamdulillah managed to complete it at last .... Nor Ash congrats for a good book again but can the next book please make it more challenging in the love affair? Overall this time it keeps me going wanting to know what happen and of course the lopes came a bit too late .... hahaha
What was the problem that Zulkarnain stay away from Syikin??? did I miss something in the plot?

The weekend......

The weekend is over so quickly and I am still camping at Windermere at my youngest sis place.On saturday as usual once a month I had to send my completed invoices to my ex company and since I was at Orchard Rd .....TST lah....hehehe

I went home to mop and do some of my laundry before heading to town and came home at around 2.30pm did some work and tried to watch tv .... at 6pm Aini came to fetch me to dinner.We went to Hyatt's Straits Kitchen for a buffet dinner with my aunt Ju who arrived from Darwin last week and also with my cousin Lin.My sis Ram and family were there too.There 12 of us for dinner and we had so much to eat .. plenty more to eat but the tummy couldn't take anymore .....

We headed for home whilst Ram and Saat and family along with Hafiz and little Adriana went to watch the late show of BATMAN.....they got home t 1.30am and by then I was already in lalaland.

Sunday 20th July genap 40 hari bapak meninggalkan kami ke alam barzakh dan semoga roh nya di cucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan dgn orang2 yg beriman.... amin.

We did the 40 days tahlil at at my brother's Baharudin place yesterday after Asar,he ordered nasi ambeng for the kenduri ... masa'allah so much kuih2 from the siblings and clever me brought fruits in the basket.My aunt also send some kuih2 in the morning and Cik Anon make kuih jongkung asli .... too many I just couldn't try it.

The nasi ambeng itself come swith 12 side dishes .... oh my god what a kenduri alright!!!

Our next kenduri tahlil will be the 100 days that will fall during ramadhan.

Last 4 nites......

Last 4 nites I stayed with my youngest sis Aini and family ........

On tuesday nite I packed my back with few stuff ......

to sleep in this room that belongs to little Adriana ........

Room full og her toys but who cares as long I have a bed to sleep on with the aircond on ...... zzzzzz only I have to walk quite a distant to the train stn about 15 minutes my way of walking.Lots of up and down the steps too ... adoiiiiiiiiii my poor legs and knees.

Yesterday the parents had meeting again in school ..

mmm... tak habis2 dgn meeting but one good turn is we get food to eat ... hehehehe......

My model .......

Managed to complete it tonite .... cam mana hensem tak Hafiz jadi big aunty nya model ...... I am not too happy it looks so bare maybe will add a deco at the front ... what do you think?

Shopping sakan ......

Yesterday I went off early from work to go down to Takashimaya to get new white linen pants suit for my uniform.Alhamdulillah the same pants still available and its $89 just for the pants ... terbang $$$ also bought a linen top for $99 to go with the pants....apasal lah ketua sekolah suruh pakai putih kalau warna lain byk yg murah sikit.

Hmmm..... kalau dah menyelam tu sambil lah minum air kan? apa lagi since benda2 kat dressing table tu pun dah nak habis terpaksa lah membeli nya .... afterall it only need replenish every 4-6 months depents how often I use it. So membeli lah barang2 tu ......

Estee Lauder products ..... yg I use everyday ...... actually cuma nak beli double wear foundation buttttttt yg lain2 tu rambang mata kata kan macam free gitu.....hehe

New product double wear 2 way foundation ... usually pakai liquid foundation ... mmm .. beli juga gambar kat atas tapi yg ini pun beli jugak.

Beautiful - Sheer ..... ni will last 1 yr asal ada lain2 perfume yg di ganti2 pakai hari2 .....

Entah kenapa beli lipstick pun tak tau ....

The free gift from estee after spending more than $180 ....... Cath kat sana only need to spend $20 to get free gift kan kan kan?

My latest knitting to give to someone's son who will be pursuing his studies kat Russia soon ... insya'allah sempat.....

Interlude ......

Interlude from knitting for a while since I have 4 good books to read and esp the one above dah tak bolih nak letak .... hehehe ....

I know I have about a dozen of headbands to knit upon request from friends and family and thank you for the support.I will get to it once I am done with reading .....
Infact I also have a muffler to knit for my niece who has left for Uni in Australia and will c/o my nephew Rudi who will be going next month.A couple of caps too in my Q to knit .... hope to find time:)

Since sunday I am on my own and when night time comes I feel lonely unlike before when arwah bapak in hospital or on holiday I don't feel it but now I just don't feel comfortable being alone and hope it will go away soon.I was unable to close my eyes till past 2am and at 6am need to get up to get ready for work.No more Wati so have to do things myself now .sob..sob so sad lah .... washing and ironing and cleaning the house ... after 4 months of not doing all these I've become lazy now .... hahaha
Foodwise no problem just eat what I have in the fridge or buy food home.

Last night I pack an overnite bag and sleep at my sis Lina's place and tonite may go to Aini's place since she has a room for me so may become a perm resident sometimes ... hehe
I will go home weekends and do my house cleaning and billings.

Any volunteers to stay with me to keep me company????

Another wedding.....

My sister in law Ros has been single parent since my brother passed away 16 yrs ago.She brings up her 2 children until they are in higher level of education ... the eldest Siti Hajar is final yr at the University of Singapore and youngest Asykari is now in year 1 at the polytechnic.

Today she solemanised their marriage with a small kenduri for close families and friends...a simple ceremony followed by lunch.

The happy couple Ros Aini and Ariffin after their akad nikah. ... wishing them happiness always.

Kasih antara kita........

Today saturday 12th July I get to meet up friends from the blogland again and of course beautiful novelist Norisah A Bakar.I got a copy of her latest book 'Kasih Antara Kita' and thanks to Norabella this meeting was made possible.There were 6 of us including little Bella who seem bored to be amongst the adults .... hehehe ......

Today MJ brought with her a birthday cake to celebrate Norisah's birthday that falls next week .. thank you MJ for being so thoughtful ~~actually I don't know~~ ... sorry eh Nor.MJ also brought along epok2 (curry puff)and then she herself is fasting ..oh dear how can we eat infront of her .. not fair rite?

Our group photos and MJ doesn't want to be known (ada malu sikit)and the other lady is Elva(correct me if I am wrong ye?)She just delivered a baby girl last month and will be going to Vancouver to join her hubby and continue with her studies too...good luck my dear.

Us again with MJ ala Michael Jackson .... hehehe ... jangan marah ye saya suka nah bergurau.

ps ... our meeting place was @ Food Culture at CCK hence pictures of chicken in the background.
