Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Zaim our turkish blogger Simah's father in law is very ill in hospital now.She smsed me at 6pm on my way home from work that baba is slowly dying ,his breathing is laboured.My doas if baba is really towards his end of journey please ya Allah beri lah ketenangan kepada nya supaya perjalanan nya selembut sutera.
Simah we are all with you .... be strong for the family!

My 2nd doa is for Norabella who will be celebrating her birthday on 30th November .... birthday yg keberapa tu rahsia lah ok .... sebetul nya lupa nak tanya ... hahaha .... but nevertheless Norabella my doas and wishes on your birthday be happy always with the loved ones at home.Semoga di murahkan rezeki dan di panjangkan umur.

At lunch today at pizza hut I was telling Rinn about the valentine's day dinner we had .... hehehe today we had the xmas promo .... sedapppppppppppp.

Alhamdulillah along with my pay today I also received my 10yrs award :) tak sia2 ku bekerja kuat!!.... ingat nak beli ...................... tunggu di lain masa ok?

Masa saya kecik2 dulu masih ingat kalau tolong arwah mak buat kuih keria say lah yg kena lenyekan keledek rebus,dah tu di campur ngan sedikit tepong dan buat bulat2 dah tu di lubangkan di tengah.Di goreng baru di sira gula panas.Sedap dan enak .... nak2 rasa keledek nya.

Tapi sekarang semua nya berbeza kuih keria sekarang di panggil donut ... ada bermacam2 perasa sekali.Kalau kita ke Dunkin'Donut tengok lah bermacam2 warna kan? tapi tebal2 pulak.

Hari ni rezeki datang melimpah di clinic ..... petang tadi ada sales-rep dtg jumpa our doc in charge di bagi nya sekotak assorted fried stuff macam epok2(karipap),popia goreng sayur dan juga apa yg kita panggil dulu onde2 goreng.Sekarang gorengan ni berisi macam2 jenis bukan sahja inti kelapa tapi ada kacang hijau,kacang merah,kekacang sahja pun ada.Bentok nya pun dah lain tak bulat macam dulu tapi macam ni yg kat bawah......



Yg ini berinti kacang lotus .... sedap juga.

Tak lama kemudian kawan lama kami cik Siti Lopis adik kepada Jennifer Lopez....hehe datang ngan anak2 nya,dia kerja halfday.Siti ni our lab technician tapi skg bertugas di Gleneagles Hospital.Mereka akan ke Bandung sabtu ni maklum lah cuti sekolah kan? .... so banyak yg ada anak2 bercuti luar negri.

Siti datang dgn 2 kotak donuts .... cantik2 hiasan nya dah macam hiasan cupcakes pulak .... ni lah rezeki hari ni banyak makanan.Kami tak makan jadi semua nya bawa balik sorang dapat 2 pieces dan saya pilih yg ini ........

Donut tiramisu ..... belum makan lagi jadi tak bolih nak komen rasa nya.
Ini dgn white icing sugar and chocolate .... pun belum rasa mungkin manis kot:)

Maklum lah kita hidup di zaman technology semua nya berbeza dari dulu kan? mungkin anak2 sekarang tak akan kenal dgn kuih muih sejati dulu2.

Another week gone by and soon we will be in the month of december .... oh wow how the time flies rite?

How issit when its sunday morning these eyes of mine just refuse to sleep again when I don't need to go to work ..... ggggrrrrrrrrrrr
I was awake at 4.30am and couldn't go back to sleep again ... I did everything that need to be done and off to the market at 8.30am a bit late today no doubt but it wasn't that bad not that crowded.Managed to buy all the stuff that I needed and was home by 9.30am.

After cleaning all the wet stuff I begin to cook my chicken rendang .... yes Simah akak masak rendanggggggggg ...... hehehe whilst waiting for the rendang to simmer I cook the dessert and thats pengat pisang dah lama tak masak pengat pisang.Instead of plain white rice I decide to make tomato rice which is so simple just throw everything in the rice cooker and it will be done in 20 minutes.

Somehow I am in the mood TER rajin kot this morning after cleaning the prawns decide to cook that too instead of keeping them in the freezer afterall next sunday can buy again....hahaha

By 11.30am my meals for sunday are done and since I had no breakfast I had an early lunch at 12noon ... it is so yummyliciousssssssssss *tak org lain nak puji...masuk bakul angkat sendiri lah kita*....hehehehe

Rendang ayam.Acar buah2an ni beli tak buat sendiri ye:)

And pengat pisang ......

I am thankful for the food thats laid in front of me ..... ameen.......

Minggu yang amat penat buat ku ......

Jika kekurangan sepasang tangan waktu kerja memang menyusahkan kekadang..sepaput nya saya dan maklang sudah pun terbang ke HCMC untuk bersama Mulan sebelum dia pulang ke Malaysia.Tapi cuti minggu ni sudah pun di ambil olih kawan saya jadi terbantut lah angan2 kesana tu ... sorry eh Mulan tak rezeki lah.

Beberapa malam ni kerena teramat penat saya tertido awal sekali macam baby ... hehe ... sebelum jam 9 mlm sudah pun ke alam lala-land sampai subuh bila jam lonceng berbunyi.Itu pun susah nak membuka mata sebab badan masih nak tido lagi tapi apa kan daya kena bangun juga.Kalau lah saya bolih jadi jutawan ... hah ... kan ku lupakan kerja2 ni semua *angan2 mat jenin*.....

Hari ni bolih tahan tak berapa banyak pesakit sangat waktu pagi bukan macam semalam sepagi suntuk tak berhenti mengambil darah macam pontianak siang kejap2 hisab darah dah tu yg menunggu nak suntikan,membuat dressing dan macam2 lagi lah yg menunggu.Bila budak2 buka mulut untuk sesuatu siap lah ku membebel kat dia org .... hahaha ....
Kerja e-billing pun mangkin bertambah nampak2 terpaksa lah bawa balik penghujung minggu ni lagi ..... isshhhhhhhhhh sungguh boring!

Makan mlm pun dah tak tentu ... apa yg ada aje tak kisah lah leftover dah beberapa hari.Hari ni baru lah sempat membeli fast food kat Long John Silver...puas sikit tapi bapak tak makan sangat dgn apa yg ku belikan dia atau pun dia tak lapar???

Untuk sendiri ia lah Fiery Chicken with fries.

Untuk bapak ni dia chicken wrap.

Dessert pineapple cream cheese pie .... so sedap:)

Harapan ku esok tak sibuk sangat juga ..... kaki ni naik bengkak berdiri seharian ... hari pun dah jauh malam baik ku mengundur diri kalau tak nanti jadi buah labu tengah malam macam cerita cindarella .... hahahaha

Yes the dinner tonite was cancelled cause both the birthdays girls are busy with their own agendas.Nazz has to work and Syida prob having dinner with her ehem..ehem....

My brother arranged for dinner when I spoke to him last nite then today he smsed to say the girls can't make it and ask what I want for dinner??
Cheeky me replied that I want sharkfin soup...hehe....and if no lobster prawn also can ...haha...and ofcourse crabs ..... teringat kat Damai Seafood it has been a long time since we were there.


The 2 gifts all wrapped in 2 different colours so the 2 girls can choose .... ah ah non of them know which colour in which wrapper so its mini mini minor more........unfortunately I am unable to give them personally as they are both not around.

My brother came around 8pm to collect the 2 gifts for the girls and he brought theseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee



Chili crabs and nasi goreng for father and me to have it for dinner .... I finished the crabs eating them with 2 slices of bread....and they were so yummylicioussssssssssss and finger licking good too.

Thank you Fandi and I am so full now *burp*..............

My 2nd parcel arrived yesterday at the clinic and I was suprised as it was sent out only the day before .... thank you maklang .. you've made the birthday girl and me very happy indeed.

The 3 bags all packed in plastic holders.

These 2 bags will be for the 2 birthday girls ...... I guess now Nazz is wondering which one will go to her and to be fair I will gift wrap them and let them pick it themselves and whatever they choose will be theirs unless the 2 sisters are willing to exchange ..... hahahaha

This is how the bag looks like just handy for young girls for a weekend outing.

Its 100% handmade by a special lady who can't keep her hand still,she is always doing some kind of handwork.

My 1st item of sabar menanti part 2 finally arrived tonite send by dear brother and best part he doesn't even know that Rudi suppose to send it to me .... aahhhhhhhh that boy nak kena dia tau.....hehehe

Simah dah tak demam malam ni ....... and fyi Nazz is Rudi's sister....cantik macam Rudi kan?....hehehe

The waiting game continues ..... until when?god knows:) until last night I suddenly developed a sudden fever .... came home and whilst having my dinner I sensed that like my mouth doesn't feel like I am eating my favourite chicken rice at all.I noticed that my lower gum was swelling and soon after I felt chill while at the laptop followed by a hot body .... ok so I was running with fever.Took my temp mits was 39 wow! took 2 panadol and went under the duvet and fell asleep until my hp signaled a msg read the msg and replied my sis and off to lala land until 5am this morning and alhamdulillah the fever gone and my gum back to normal too.

Saya masih menunggu tapi bayang nya pun tak nampak lagi sungguh sedeh sekali ... tapi takpe lah lagi lama lagi suspense kan?

Banyak yg bertanya kesian pulak bila membaca comment2 yg tertulis tu .....

Sebenar ada 3 perkara yg saya sedang menunggu ni .................

1. Ole-ole kiriman dari Istanbul with love from Simah & family.......si hensem dah pulang since sunday but too busy attending his part time course for a degree.Last night dia dah pun terbang tinggi lagi ntah kemana destinasi nya ............ and hopefully my brother akan menhantarkan nya.

2. Barang2 saya tempah 2 bulan dulu untuk di bagi ke anak2 sedara saya untuk hari jadi mereka tak beberapa hari lagi.Tapi kerena kesibukan maklang tak sempat menghabiskan nya tapi insya'allah kalau sampai bak belated birthday present lah kan?

3.Komfirmasi dari majikan maklum lah dah tertulis setiap pekerja yg masuk tahun ke 11 akan mendapat anugerah setengah bulan gaji....ni lah yg di tunggukan.Sebenar nya saya dah bekerja dgn majikan ni 30 tahun lebih tapi pada tahun 1995 saya dan 10 staff yg lain2 di retrenched tapi saya di re-employed as new staff.

Finally today we went to see the play at the Esplanade......after watching it can someone please tell me who kill Hang Jebat???? was it Hang Tuah? or was it Pateh Kerma Wijaya as in this show?

I guess no one knows who actually kill Jebat rite?Only DangWangi his wife knew who the killer is as she was the witness ......





The casts at the end of the show ..... sorry eh we are not allowed to take photos inside but somehow I managed to steal one as we were seated 3rd row from the front.



Dato'Rahim Razali only appears in 2 scene but nevertheless I just love hearing his voice....hehe

Credit goes to Khalid Salleh who acted as Pateh ... I think he is good and so are the rest of the casts.Deanna Yusof is superb inspite for being only female cast ... if Ahmad Tarmimi Siregar is Hang Tuah it would make the show even better.For Rafaat Hamzah the only singaporean cast acting as Jebat congrats for your good acting.







Man Toyak and his group were playing at the foyer and managed to snap these and of course we didn't wait to watch them singing.



As we went our way to the car park we decide to snap some pictures of ourselves along the way ..... wanabemodels but no takers .... hahaha
