Shopping again

I was left alone when everyone left at 1pm as I had to churn the month end invoices to generate them for billing to companies.When Fiona is on duty she will be the one to do it but since she is away on leave what choice do I have??


I had a quick lunch and start doing it and didn't finish till almost 2.30pm .... decide to do a bit of ebilling but gave up after half an hour "what the hack!might as well go home and get some sleep".......hehehe


On my way down I press the lift button to my favourite floor where my favourite boutique is where they stock sizes from x.......xxL.......alamak shy lah .... hehehe
Yes I managed to buy something for myself and I think I deserve it too:) don't you think so????

A black blouse just love the lace border .... ok its a bit pricey (is there such a word?) $59.90 but then I get 10% discount.

A denim coat since they have my size and last one too actually love the blue colour but no stock very saleable ..... why did I buy and where and when I am going to use it?.... Nevermind just keep in the cupboard who knows I get a chance to travel in colder countries again soon eh?

I am happy with my purchase today and have no regrets for spending that

Whilst everyone are celebrating to usher in the new year and having big makan ..... me and my dad only had these for dinner.Roti pratha (canai in malaysia) with sambal sardine .... yup delicious can't remember when I had this last .... must be ages ago.Yes instant pratha just fry them for a minute or 2 and ready to eat.

I doubt if I can stay awake to welcome 2008 as it is my eyes are too heavy now and soon I'll be in lalaland.

One Saturday ......

Today saturday 29th is THD stock check day and I have been doing it for so many years until 2 yrs ago I put a stop to it eventhough the OT is good but then you will be spending 2 days over the weekend at work with no rest at all.Mind you counting those loose tablets can make you go crazy especially if you miss counting you have to do it all over and what make it worst when the auditor is standing next to you.


Today these 3 ladies stayed back to do the job whilst I stayed back to try and do as much billing as possible and besides to finish all the odds and ends that needed doing.



Edna the chief did the climbing as she is the lighest .... hahaha ..... shelves and shelves of medicines need to be counted.





This is Rinn busy counting loose tablets and cannot be disturbed otherwise she has to starts all over again esp when she has reached the 1000 count.Wei Rinn seluar tu ketat ke?... marah nanti si Rinn kalau dia baca ni ..... acar aje ok? yg menulis ni pun apa beza nya kan ...... kan....... kan

I left the clinic at 5pm too tired to face the pc otherwise I fall asleep ..... I walked around for a while but couldn't see anything good to buy.The supermart was impossible to go the Q line at the cashier was miles long.

Then I decide to check on mobile phone as every saturday the 3 providers here in sg will put new promo and I have an upgrade thats overdue for months.Looking at the zero dollar promo 4 types of Nokia hmm... all look nice and slim but prefer the new slides one and of course no zero dollar for that except for LG brand but am not sure about this brand.Then I saw the one that I've been aiming for a Nokia E65 ..... o la la ..... must have ..... must have ..... and so I got it at $98.00 for another 2 yrs contract in writing but in actual fact after 1 year you can upgrade again.

My new mobile a Nokia E65 ..... purple wine colour .... alamak matching my bedcover eh?



How? cantik tak my xmas present to myself???? ok ok now have to read the manual and study ........ urrrgggghhhhh!!

Too tired to cook ..... just a chicken meatball soup with potatoes and carrots ...not even spring onion for garnishing.Tomorow must go to the market and stock my fridge again.

New year celebration

We celebrated early for the new year 2008 today with Pizza .... compliment from our in charge Fiona.Even though she is away in Sydney but her thoughts are with us the staff .... before she left last week she seeked my help into buying lunch for the staff as she won't be around to celebrate it with us.

She gave me some $$ to buy what I deem suitable for them actually I plan for monday at 1pm as we only work half a day on the eve of new year but Adah has to leave early as she has a wedding dinner to go to in KL and I myself have to work late being month end - to churn all invoices actually this is Fiona's duty but because she is away the 2nd senior staff has to do it @%**^#@ aku juga yg kena ... ya ampun... tapi takpe bolih claim OT.

So the easiest is just let the fingers do the walking and called Pizza Hut Delivery and as you can see in the slides it was yummyliciousssssssssssssss and finger licking good.

So here's wishing each and everyone of you a blessed new year and may 2008 brings warmth and good health to all of us and good fortune too.

Almost over...

Where did the year go? Suddenly it is December......AGAIN -
and we realize that within a blink of an eye, 2007 is almost over!









A chair of his own ..... eh Will if I wanna sit pun tak muat lah ..... hahaha

Learning at young age .... kyusuk nampak membaca and tengok gambar .

And all I want for xmas is my 2 front teeth...2 front teeth .....

Latest picture of my niece Kristina with her colleague Jaclyn in pirate outfit on Halloween day .... she just emailed me this photo - she wanted me to see the bracelet and necklace she wore and I clean forgot that I gave her that when she was here last .... so sorry Kris my brain kaput ..... belated happy birthday once again Kris and I hope you like the ribbon emboidery bag my friend did:)

Today is princess Sophie 1 month old celebration .... even though she is in Australia but we at the clinic received the 1 month cake. I did the ordering with grandma Fiona before she left for Sydney last wednesday.We went to 2 cake shops and Bengawan Solo have better choices and we decide on this walnut cake set of 2 red eggs and 2 angkoo kuih.

We were busy at work I had no time to even sit down .... been on my feet most time and at lunch time I went down to buy my lunch and to collect the cakes.I think the staff were surprised to see me coming back with boxes of cakes!!!

I a beat and tired and I have so much of e-billings to catch up with so for the next few days I'll be staying late at work to finish them and I hope next year to get a week's leave to rest and to make appt to see my dentist as my tooth sudah goyangggggggggg.

Happy birthday Kristina


Its birthday time again in the Jellanie family.






Happy birthday Kris from all of us in sg .... we maybe miles across the ocean but we still remember your birthday and who can forget especially its on christmas day.May you have a wonderful birthday and xmas too.


Along on this auspicious day al-fathihah also to my dear late brother who was also born on christmas day and he was named Esa.You may have left us but you are always in our heart and mind .... semoga roh arwah di cucuri rahmat .... amin.





Above are things maklang c/o through Rina for me .... the RE bags I ordered from her are for my own use and they are very pretty indeed.The chcocolate cake is nice but on the sweet side lah maklang :) and thank you for the traditional kuih muih book by our chef from kerteh kak liza .. siap dgn signature lagi.The recipes looks easy to do but to me quite leceh gitu nak buat takut tak menjadi.The fridge magnet from pulau redang cute looking island.There's also a packet of serunding daging which I thought I did take a picture but I guess not.

Marylou our first maid after my mom passed away ..... she was 18 yrs old when she first came to work for my sis Lina to look after Huda and Hassaan when Lina went to work.She is a very good worker inspite of her age then and size..she works fast and tip-top.


She left us after 2 yrs and has mastered our local malay dishes including rendang and all and during ramadhan she helps to do tarts and kuih makmur.Lina decide to stop working after Shasha came and Marylou work for my friend for 6 yrs.She went home to get married and came back to work again for my friend again.



She went home 2 yrs ago but came back to work for 3 months with ex boss to train 2 new maids and going home next month before coming back again full time.



Today she called Lina to say she is off and coming to visit datuk (my dad) and me.Lina fetched her from AMK train stn and they came as a suprise.Unfortunately I didn't cook much except for those above and she had lunch with us.

Marylou now at age 32 yrs old with Nana earlier during lunch .... she speaks fluent malay being young when she came to us and learn fast.She's a mother of 2 boys now:)

My guests from K......


First of all syukur alhamdulillah finally the meeting between me and ex Rina Jordan and before I forget Rina send her warm wishes and regards to everyone in the blogland.She's unable to bloghop or make entries at the moment since she came back to Malaysia as she has no internet access but now that hubby is home for few weeks hopefully soon.I am sure you are missing her stories and all.




As you can see she looks well sihat wal'afiat .... she smsed me last week to say she and family be coming to sg and ofcourse I am most delighted and invited them over for meal.She stayed in JB and came across yesterday and spent the day at Sentosa and then to Plaza Singapura for some shopping.Today they specially came over again to have lunch with me at my pigeon hole .... the pleasure is mine and thank you Rina and family for coming.They left to do more sightseeing and shoppinggggggggggggggg.........





Meeting of 2 bloggers ..... oh dear I certainly need a haircut .. it looks so messy eh?

What I prepared for the simple lunch ...... Rina also brought some ole2 from Kemaman.

The family minus the 3 bigger children who are away in Jordan,Russia and Korea.

Mimi enjoyed her meal and she loves prawns and mind you she is good with peeling her own prawns.See the rings on her fingers ?? mak oi kalah aunty elle yg vogue ni .... hahahaha

I pack some of the curry prawns and beef ketumba(the hubby loves it) and some begerdil so they can eat them tonite.I also bought some goodies for them too ........ and special gift for mimi.

They also came with a bagful of goodies from maklang which I will put up in my next entry.

Turkey....turkey.....

Yes we had roasted turkey for lunch today compliment from a drug company along with trimmings....rezeki ... alhamdulillah:)

I brought my carving knife from home plus some disposable plates...we were busy and I work right through as I will be alone till next year ... my partner Fiona is away on holiday to see her first granddaughter in Sydney.

Another sales rep also send a basket of chocolates and biscuits ..... we had our lunch in our very small pantry.I took the basket home and manage to store my knitting wools and needles into it.

Enjoy the slides and see how we enjoyed our free turkey lunch ..... hahaha ...... chicken would be better somehow:)
