Cuma lagi 9 hari syawal akan menjelma sana sini semua dah sibuk membuat kuih raya,mungkin ada yg satu cabinet agak dah penuh dgn kuih muih raya macam rumah ...ehem ... kat kerteh tu:)
Tapi saya satu pun tak buat almaklum oven on strike and I doubt I am going to repair it for now....
So today as usual in the fasting month I will cruise to nowhere at JP during lunch time and today I ended at Bengawan Solo and ended buying 4 types of cookies.....4 only for now too heavy nak angkut balik.
These are the 4 tins of cookies I bought today and it cost me S$52.00 I guess you have to pay for the tin rite? afterall the tin is usable for other things.Kalau sesape nak booking tin kosong do let me know kalau tak I buang aje .... maklang dah pun buat booking smlm ... dia nak bubuh ribbons -ribbons dia....good idea tu maklang jadi you know which colour ribbons in which tin? bolih ikut warna tin kan ....kan ....kan
Ni nama-nya Forum cookies rasa nya macam kuih makmor tin nya yg warna hijau muda tu.
Yang ini pulak cashew nuts cookies .... tin warna merah......
Ni sedap tau .... suji ... tin warna yellow.
Ha yg ini rangup sekali ...cornflakes .... tin warna pink.
Mungkin esok saya nak beli almond suji ..... sedap tu ... I think tin dia pun kalau tak salah either pink or brown.

These almond london (or issit london almond?) ntah ye is from my sis in law Saba her speciality.My brother brought them over this afternoon. This one first day raya dah kosong tinggal bekas aje.
My niece Huda is making some cookies for me too but not to sure jadi tak .... senyap aje maybe dia ngah sibuk membuat kan ..... Huda how issit going ? doing or not?...hehehe
Macam mana anda sekelian ? Banyak dah buat kuih raya?

i miss murtabak spore so much!!! used to lepak2 kat masjid sultan area when i was kid... arwah atok tinggal kat area situ dulu...

yes their cake lapis power kan?tapi mahal..kalau I ke JB we buy the one from season bakery same price RM$40 but BS rasa more rempah sikit.

Kak Elle, cantiknya those tins. If I were there I'd buy those cookies just for the tin!! hehehe. Dah berapa banyak your cookies semuanya, Kak Elle? I tak beli banyak, so far baru order some jam tarts and chocolate cookies. I am thinking of going over to the Institut Jantung Negara (near my office) where Shazz Delights (a cookie name) is selling cookies and will donate part of the cookie sales (I think 30 percent) to IJN's patient fund.

the shop's name or rather the bakery is called Bengawan Solo and its halal and their cake lapis is superb!!
