I had to take urgent leave today....aha flooded today without rain!!
How can it be flooded with no rain? Well the flood was in my kitchen .... HELP.....
It was fine last nite before I went to bed but today when I turn on the tap water starts to flood the kitchen from the usual outlet from under the cabinet .... alamak!
This is the outlet that the drain runs underneath the floor from the washing machines ..... the last time it happened was last year and the year before that so this is 3rd time aiyo time to go to work and now it happens so last resort had to take urgent leave and get plumber to come and pay $$$$.... the last time he charged me $60 just to shoot into the hole to release the clogged.Best part my mop broke at the joint when trying to mop and sweep the water maybe water too heavy kot....hahaha .... so next best thing huh manual with hand and towels...uuurggggggh
Now need to wait for plumber to open shop at 8.30 before I can call them and hopefully they can make it ASP so I can clean up the kitchen and do my cooking since I am home on leave.So dapur berasap today.
Last sunday the water leaks from the main pipe outside and of course lah the meter runs also and I managed to arrest the problem by turning the volume down.Anything happen outside of premises will be repaired by the town council and since the flood is in the premises its your own to settle ..... wuaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.
They say things will come in 3's so I am just wondering whats next??hope nothing major sayang $$$ terbang:)

ok my kitchen is once again clean and nice to walk on ..... the job was done in 10 minutes and cost $30 this time maybe been a regular ... hahaha ..... and while waiting for him to come at 9.30am I went down to get new mop and at same time dropby the market.The kurma ayam at Norabella website mmg mengancam terpaksa memasak nya.Its been a long time since I last cook this or eat it.
Cam mana Nora bolih tak?I bought mint leave instead of corriander ok lah I guess no one knows the diff ..... hehe.....tak sempat makan lagi because I ate abt 10 of those lovely savories below while making them:)
QOTH I finally did the kuih cara berlauk ... alhamdulillah rasa nya ok and I use the same recipe as my old kuih cara berinti gula tu.

The result turn out quite nice and tak burn lagik except for the first round a bit burnt as I need to season the mould with the heat first .... hoorrayyyyy......
From that mixture managed to do about 50 plus and I ate abt 10 of them already.........

Kak Elle, arap2 sume dah settle!Siannya...i hate flood! Pernah kena, air machine kuar!Malas sungguh nak lap balik bg kering.

the plumber coming in 20 minutes time ... lepas tu bolih lah buat kerja and since on leave bolih was all the bed linens ...last weekend hujan so bolih lah kering hari ni.As long tak turn on the kitchen tap ok.
Harap semua akan ok..
Last 2 weeks.. air tangki kat rumah Ajzie juga buat hal..Kena panggil plumber gak panjat tangki tgk apa yg berlaku...

acuan tu kena seasonkan dulu maklang...cuba brush dgn oil panaskan dulu and selalu nya the first round mmg tak menjadi either melekat or hangus..lepas tu bolih adjust api nya.

Everytime tengok gambar kuih cara, pasang hajat nak beli acuan dia. Sampai sekarang tak beli2 lagi...

it will be easier for you to buy the acuan from malaysia as for me susah sikit and lagi mahal di sini...I dah cuba cara durian not bad tapi kena beli durian yg sedap baru ada rasa nya...like you I pun suka yg ini.

The kuih cara looks so plump and gebu, rasa macam nak NGAP aje, Kak Elle. Perut I tengah bunyi ni ..... I have to try making the cara soon (post recipe pandai tapi nak buat malas, hehehe)

I have to add a wee bit of water next time as I like it softer but today's texture just right though.
