Balance.......

What do you do with a balance wool when its not enough to knit something ....... this morning at the sick bay I was thinking hard as what to knit with so little wool left.I will feel restless if I don't do something as I haven't been to the library for weeks.

I begin to knit ..... knit ..... knit .......

Until it becomes something like the above ..... just a simple pattern of eyelets and repeating it again after few more rows ......

Aha finally I get to the length I want and so .........

there it is a headband can be used to put the hair up ..........

Selamat Pengantin Baru .......

Yesterday at 10am akad nikah di lansungkan di masjid ... ramai saudara mara dua belah pihak menghadiri.

Kami breakfast di rumah pengantin lelaki pau and curry puff asal lepas nikah kami akan ke tempat pengantin perempuan untuk makan tengah hari.

Kereta pengantin kepunyaan my sis Lina di hias pepagi smlm masa kami semua kesana jam 8.30pagi .... kami bertolak jam 9.15 ke masjid untuk akad nikah.




Last minute advise from Saat .....






Wang hantaran 7K dengan mas kawin sebentuk cicncin berlian dan sebagai hadiah satu set subang berlian & rantai dan loket berlian.



Nur Aini berdebar menanti saat bahagia....

Nasihat dr kadi Salim Jasman .... di sebelah nya berbaju merah bapak pengantin yg melansungkan akad nikah anak nya sendiri.

Hadiah dari dara untuk teruna.

Walimatul Urus......






28th June 2008 another wedding of my nephew ZolHelmi and pretty bride Nur Aini - Zlaa kenal tak?anak didikian @ Nottingham tau.













Helmi the youngest of my brother's children ending his bachelorhood today ... he is a trainee pilot with SIA/SILKAIR after the wedding he will be going to Australia for 9 months training and she will be pursuing her Ph D at Nottingham too soon.













Last night I went to their place to kepo2 sikit and they were preparing the hadiah2 for the nikah this morning @ 10am at masjid and bersanding to follow at a community hall at the brides place.
Unfortunately arwah bapak is unable to be there as when he was ill he has been asking how to be present as its a whole day affair and he tires easily then.















When I come back tonite I will write on the majlis that if I am not too tired ..... enjoy the slides below photos were taken from my brand new olympus camera :)

Akhir nya .....



At last my little beret/cap turn out as I wanted it to be .... this morning at the sick bay I added some flowers as decor ...( sorry eh Tulippurple can't find a tulip) so I use whatever I have in stock.






I sewed these onto it ........ cantik tak?

My model Ros our receptionist at the school .... what a different rite ? she looks so cool in it :)

This is Charmine the one who bought the wool for me and in return I gave it to her as she is pursuing further study in UK just an appropriate gift for her nodoubt she pays for the wool.

My second beret coming up soooooooonnnnnnnnn ............

At last .....



At last I complete the knitting I started yesterday .... in the end this is the turn-out ..... not so perfect and I guess I have to adjust a little next time ... afterall no pattern to follow just follow the heart :)

New Term .....




The new school term start today after 1 month of school holiday as usual the staff and admin dept were busy welcoming 21 new students (21 kali 22 ribu $$ ..mak oi) ...... nampak macam byk pulak anak2 dari China ... yes you can tell the different from their face and appearance.We also have 4 new tutors and one of them is a new maths teacher gitu hensem deh !! Looks like all the girls students heart will be beating fast .... he's good looking but sorry ah children he's taken ada wedding band on his finger .... hahahaha ......


I was pretty quiet in the morning then after 12pm they start to stroll in but ok aje for me not much complain from them all simple ones....
A lot of them they didn't know that I was on compassionate leave along with my leave as most of the teachers were away balik kampong halaman some in UK,NZ and locals staff away on leave.Some of them ask how's your summer break?When I told them about our recent loss they were so sorry ... told them its ok as they were away and arwah atok is in good hand now.


Charmaine our temp staff who is our ex student last year bought some wool for me and she doesn't want my $$ to pay her back ... takpe lah anak org kaya ... pakcik sedara is our Sg PM... anyway with the wool she gave me I decide to knit something for her twin who will be leaving for England to further study next month.Charmaine will be going too but later different course.








So far I am up to here now with the knitting hope to finish it soon .... I can't wait to see how it will turns up ..... I just knit and knit no pattern no nothing hopefully menjadi .... haha



Last night I saw this lady on TV1 and I waited for the show after seeing the ads few nights ago.To Raden Galoh syabas I wouldn't miss the show and kept reminding myself of the time schedule....and after the show I smsed her to congrat her and she was so happy that I watch the show down in Sg.

Sunday ......





Today like any other sunday my duty to do marketing etc .... eventhough I will be alone I somehow don't know how to buy stuff for 1 person so I ended buying just as per normal when bapak was around as sunday the day the sisters and families will come visiting. I bought enough food for the next 2 weeks and I think now the freezer is asking for helpppp.........







Infact I can just buy cooked food home on my way back and eat during working days but for weekends I will still let the kitchen breath some home cook food.If I am lucky and being thought off maybe Aini and family will come and have meal with me....and so far she's been twice and also 2 brothers who drop in to see how things are.I am not writing this for pity but just a saying ... 'tengok2 lah selalu ntah hidup ke mati I sorang2 kat rumah' .... hahahaha .....







Anyway my aunt wak yah has decided to stay till tuesday as the contractor couldn't finish the job for the reason the toilet bowl they brought from the warehouse has hairline crack on it and being saturday the supplier close halfday so I have to wait till monday before they can complete the job.The flooring all done and next to fix back the sliding door and new toilet bowl.Its a shame bapak won't be able to see it as he uses this bathroom daily.

My pillar of strength ......

These 2 ladies have been my pillar of strength since bapak pulang ke Rahmatullah ... each of them been staying with me to keep me company.The lonely day and night and with them around I gain my strength.





My aunt from KL who has been with me since the day arwah bapak was hospitalised ... I smsed my uncle and the same afternoon she took the evening coach down to be with us.She got to see him and aknowledged of her present.Cik Rosinah aka endut thank you for being here with me for the 8 days but unfortunately she had to return and as my cousin is not well back home.



This my wak Yah - my arwah mak only sister and she is 78yrs 6 yrs older than my mak.She has been with me since the tahlil 7 hari and today she is going home and I will be alone once again.
We talked about her younger days with my mak and how they stayed in Betawi to visit the grandparents.Stories of yesteryears are always nice to listen...unfortunately we have no photos of my greatgrandparents nor grandparents to look at.



Insya'allah I hope to cope once she goes home and learn to pick up the pieces and continue with life.Next week school,begin and I am off to work again the days will be ok as I will be surrounded with students and colleagues but for the night I can't tell yet.



So far my youngest sis and bro in law has invited me to stay with them anytime I like to them thank you Aini and Kam.I will see how things will turn up and who knows I may take that offer but once again nothing like your own bed and home:)at least I know someone out there do think of my welfare.

Tahlil ......

Semalam kami membuat khenduri tahlil yg 7th hari di rumah saya dan alhamdulillah semua adikberadik dan family hadir... semoga doa kami di terima olih Nya.


Saya mula membuat persiapan dari hari selasa ke pasar membeli apa yg patut dan pada hari tu saya mula membuat serunding kelapa dan dgn petolongan anak sedara Huda dan pembantu rumah my sis and Wati kita buat begerdil sebanyak 6kg kentang ... habis semua semalam dan takde balance di bungkus untuk bawa pulang.


Saya mula memasak dr jam 11 pagi hingga 4 ptg .... oh penat sungguh .... hehehe




Daging ketumbar jintan .... saya memasak nya mlm selasa.

Drink corner .... dan lepas ada juga kopi panas .

Pinggan2 untuk makan nasi.





Begedil berisi daging.

Rendang ayam ..... sold out .... mula2 cadang nak masak lemak cili api tapi di tasa permintaan anak2 sedara mereka kata dah lama tak makan rendang ayam masakan saya ...... hahaha

Sambal udang ....

Dan serunding ....

Di dalam kesibukan smlm saya lupa nak ambil gambar2 kuih muih yg dibawa olih adik2 & juga sepupu saya.

Hari ni contractor mula membuat toilet yg tergendala since last week di atas kematiaan bapak.

Cement dan tiles yg telah dihantar minggu lalu .....

Untuk menukar toilet/wash room di dapur sebab neighbour di tingkat bawah complain ceiling mereka basah .... jadi terpaksa lah membuat nya .......

Hari ni mereka memecahkan semua tiles yg lama ..... oh abok nya bukan main lagi .....

Alas canvas dari pintu masuk ke dapur ............. kerja akan siap pada hari sabtu....untuk 2-3 hari ni dapur tak berasap lah .....
