Atok's progress
After yesterday roller coaster in the ward today atok seem more rational and he is off the drip too and they are keeping an eye on his fluid input.If he doesn't drink enough he will get dehydrated again.
All siblings were present today at the hospital as we have to decide on the management once he is discharged etc ...... at present they have decided to have atok in the hospital till sunday/monday whilst the process of our application to have him move to a community rehab hospital.This is once again a govt subsidary board so we need to apply and the social worker interviewed me as atok is staying with me...and ofcourse at this stage I am unemployed so chances should be good....they will of course survey families income etc before they will approve a place for atok otherwise we have to pay as private patient.
Well one sensitive issue is someone has to explain to him why we are sending him to St Lukes as he may think that we don't want to look after him.....and as aftercare when he is discharged from St Luke .... the siblings have come to a decision that we have to get a maid to help look after him when I have to go to work next month .... fyi my new employer has granted me to start as from March instead of next week.I am glad they understand my situation.....
My sincere thank you to all of you for the kind wishes ,prayers for atok speedy recovery and also for the moral support ,phone calls and smses.....RIBUAN TERIMA KASIH..... HANYA TUHAN YG AKAN MEMBALAS NYA.
I think with love and tender care and with everyone's prayers atok will get better soon.

Alhamdulillah, masalah berat jadi ringan dengan muafakat adik beradik. Doa saya terus menerus untuk kekuatan KakElle dan kesihatan atok pulih segera. Amin.

InsyaAllah he'll improve at St Lukes ( akak tentu ingat kes my mom yang pernah tinggal di institusi macam St Lukes juga!! ), mulanya memang dia rasa terpinggir namun bila dah kat sana, dia gembira dengan tunjuk ajar dari penyelia di situ. Don't worry , itu jugak satu usaha ke arah kebaikan, InsyaAllah.

that is our first choice...dulu masa dia dpt stroke he stayed there for 2 month sampai bolih berjalan balik...physio nya mmg serious but for the good:)
St.Lukes 15 minute dari rumah saya and within reach the childrens homes except for Ram its from east to west.
