A long day.....
It has been a long day for me today.... waking up early cooking for my father for his lunch and then start doing my ebilling after doing the washing and mopping the house.Even though its only me alone at home the house still need to be mopped and cleaned.Initially I wanted to go down to the market but too lazy .... I spent 3 hrs doing ebilling before going to the hospital and at same time was yming with maklang.
I cook black pepper chicken stew for him with rice .... yummlicious tau.
And his progress .... his haemoglobin dropped further so he was given blood transfussion 1 pint (wonder if he is bleeding somewhere)..........
he is off oxygen now and when the nurse wanted to give him his pain killer he declined as he says no pain...good sign rite?
Tonite he will be nil by mouth after 10pm as he will be going for a ultrasound of his hepato due a raised liver enzymes and I am praying hard that it will be normal.This is what worrying me he went in for something but ended up with something else!!!
Inspite of his normal HBA1C but his random glucose still high today so they started him on insulin injection for today to monitor it.Besides all these complication results he is improving with his meal at least he is eating a bit.
I was seating next to him when he dozes off and he was again talking out loud .... its like a flash back....with what he says.....I am just wondering whats causing these flashback?????things he mentions are of the past!!!
We left him at 2pm and head to Orchard Rd for late lunch at Far East Plaza .......
At Sakura .... even at 2.30pm the place always pack so we walk around and wait for them to call...
My sea-food horfun ...... small helping macam tak kenyang .... hehehe
Tante's dumpling mee ..... looks deliciuos huh? should have taken a bite from her :)
The rest I can't tell as they were seating at another table whilst I sat with tante and the 2 girls.....

After that we drive back to the hospital to visit father again and I bought for him tea tarik and toasted bread that he requested and he finished the bread ...Aini and family and me left 6.30pm .. whilst Lina and my bro stayed behind and on our way out saw another bro coming in.Father is surrounded by his loving children ....
A very long day for me and reaching home continue with my ebillingggggggggggg.

At least you know in details what's going on in his system. InsyaAllah, things will get better. Praying along with you going thru this TEST from Allah. Take care, ya kak.

i guess when old people r sick..they do see these things in thier dreams..a common occurance..... baba did too..he refered to them as "scenarios"...but it was at that time also that it was difficult to differentiate what was the scenario ans what was real... as baba was fond of telling us..
i hope ur dad will be ok soon... why dont u try fruity yogurt (without the fruit bite in it)..more like the creamy one... maybe that will tempt him to eat something...??
whatever it is..it is obvious that he is surrounded by his love ones...that is the most important thing ..iyea la..dah la badan sakit..kalau kena tinggal sorang sorang..lagi la rasa nak sakit..at least ada anak anak dan cucu around... gembira la dia sikit.. :0)

Dah without oxygen petanda dah bertambah okay, InsyaAllah. Kadangkala waktu kita sakit memang badan lemah dan fikiran melayang, bukan orang tua sahaja meracau masa sakit, kanak-kanak dan kita juga boleh jadi macam tu .Harap kak elle tabah dengan segala ujian ini...sup blackpepper tu mimi mesti suka :)

kekadang his flashback ni menakutkan juga...hari tu masa di rumah yg dia meracau..'dia nak jumpa pak Harto???'then tante(my sis maid)told him pak harto kan dah meninggal pak?..he answered"ada di solo"...worrying kan??
