I promise there will be no talk of food today because banyak yang terliuh bila masuk blog ini....kesian kak elle bila membaca komen2 dari mereka2 yang jauh di luar negri.

Last wednesday I took a halfday leave so as to cook some dishes for father's birthday and it so happened that Norabella too was on a halfday but to see a doctor ... btw Nora how are you now?
She came to my clinic to give me this novel she bought for me from JB.We took the lift down together and decide to have lunch at the Banquet at JP and of course we had chicken rice our favourite.Nor_Ash if you are reading this entry when can we meet for that autograph?I am yet to start with the novel because once I start reading nampak tak tido lah satu malam nak baca habiskan.Si Adah dah tunggu bila I habis baca dia nak pinjam baca bab dia cari tak jumpa kat singapore.Writer singaporean but kena beli kat malaysia... macam mana ni?
Now come to cab drivers.......as you know I take a cab home practically everyday after work cause at times I will buy dinner and stuff from the supermart and other places at JP or when I have to stay on till late I have to rush back so that I can buy dinner for father.At times when I am late he will eat just bread and after that he won't eat what I've bought asal dah kenyang ngan roti.
I met all kinds of drivers some are really very polite and nice to talk to and some drive as though he is in F1 speeding and cutting in between lanes.There was a day last week I told the driver he has a good collections of oldies as he was playing Elvis Presley songs .... so we began talking about the good songs of our era and he is a music lover and he showed me the cds he has in the cab and yesssssss they are also my favourites too unfortunately the journey home is only about 20 minutes so unable to listen to them.
Yesterday I was angry with this mat after telling him my destination ingat dia tau as he drives through PIE but who knows he went straight to the expressway so I was shocked kenape mat ni jln yg jauh pulak?? I pun ask lah why are you driving through here?Jawab dia this is the way...bengang I di buat nya dia ingat this is first time ke I naik taxi....dah lah jln jauh dah tu trap in jam....I really gave him back and he keeps apologising so instead of $9/- fare jadi $12.50...mm...next time please ask if you not sure of the route.
Today Unilever S'pore was having their moving out sales so Ft and myself went there during our lunch break but masya'allah ramai nya orang and the Q was so longgg.The things were going as low as 80% less and it is a good bargain.Unfortunately we were unable to buy anything as the Q for paying is just too long and too slow and ontop of that the rain start to pour cats and dogs.Actually we already selected the stuff we wanted but had to put them back .... so sad:(
We were late abt 10 minutes driving thru' the rain and looking parking at JP.
Lastly we had a terrible news and I am still shocked over it....our colleague from our main branch dapat berita yg suami dia meninggal di rumah sakit.Mungkin dia tak nak kita tau yg suami nya sakit jadi bila dapat berita tu semua rakan kerja terperanjat.Her hubby was diagnosed as cancer of ?unknown and given 1-6 months to live but who knows tak sampai sebulan dia dah pergi....we were told she pengsan bila hospital menghubungi nya.Padahal dia mmg ambil cuti halfday nak pergi hospital tapi ajal tak kira masa kan? yang sedeh sekali kawan I ni pun sedang menghadapi masaalah penyakit Lupus.My only wish is she will be strong to face all these and she has 2 sons to look after.Tomorrow nite Adah,Ft and myself will go to the wake eventhough we don't work together but we are all old staff and we know each other and went through a lot working for this practice.
See no mention of food rite?Well folks have a nice weekend:)
