DEAR SYA SEMOGA DI HARI YG BERMAKNA NI SEGALA HARAPAN DAN DOA AKAN DI KABULKAN HENDAK NYA.....amin.
Now we come back to thai silk .... yes the baju kurung I wore on sunday to my aunt's place for raya wishes and also to see her after her umrah masa raya di sana.
This suit of thai silk was a present from my sis Aini in 2005, at a glance when she bought it like its matching ..... but a second glance its not:(The plain blue silk suit I had tailored in JB with emboidery some more unfortunately the kain colour doesn't match.
For raya in 2005 I wore it with this silk I borrowed from Huda ........
At another time without bringing the kain we bought the top to go with kain thinking it was red/maroon we bought that piece and again ..... hahaha....wrong choice!! Actually its more purplish.
Nevertheless the baju was sewed by my sis Lina and I kept in the cupboard still in the plastic bag until last year in 2006 when we went to Arab Street Aini reminded me to bring the baju this time and at last we found the right colour :)
This is the one and its Indian silk and I just love it .........
Matching rite?at last ..... hahaha ...... once again my sis Lina sewed it for me..... and finally after 2 yrs I get to wear it last sunday in spur of the moment...... secara kebetulan:) and it goes well with just a simple pearl/crystal necklace and teardrop earring.
If that someone were to read this entry I am pretty sure she will be smiling ear to ear and can imagine her drooooooolllinggggg too........hahaha

dah 2 tahun baru nak pakai kak elle...hiihiiiiii...sian baju tu....nasib ingat lagie kat dier...

thats not the only one ada lagi few suits yg tak terpakai...maklum lah pergi kergi beruniform so bila lagi nak pakai kalau tak ke majlis perkawinan kan?

Kain silk tu mahal tak? I remember when I was living in KL, kain silk mahal sangat... Nak buat baju kurung pun kena pikir 2 3 kali.. Hehe.

silk ada macam2 quality..price range between $16 per meter to even $60 per meter...The one I had tak tau asal its a gift from my sis even we tried buying the next few ones also paid by her...rezeki kan? I thought it will be cheaper in malaysia or even kelantan?

Kak elle...kalau nak beli baju lain kain lain ni memang susah...sebab kadang kita rasa matching tapi bila tgk betul2 ada jugak larinya warna tu...

Tapi saya pun selalu terkena bila bab nak beli tudung to go with the baju. Masa beli tak bawa baju, bila balik mesti tak sesuai. Akhirnya, pakai cream or black...
