Memory lane .......
Every morning I pass by this place from the MRT stn to my school I will pass by the place where I used to live for few years .... Commonwealth Close.We stayed here more than 40 yrs ago when I was still in school and then I start doing my nursing training from there too.I think Aini and my youngest brother Mohammed were born here too but at a hospital Kandang Kerbau Maternity Hospital.
The new look is a far cry 40 yrs ago ... it has been upgraded not long ago and it looks so nice.

This is the block where we used to live Blk 88 now they have a small courtyard on the groundfloor where one can sit and wait for friends or watch the children play.They have covered walkway all the way to the station too.My school is another 10 minutes walk from here ... it does bring back memory of yesteryears.
My dinner last night sea-food noodle since I have left over of the yellow mee and for lunch we had leftover of beef curry.
I am on leave yesterday and today and atok suppose to have 2 appts today but had to cancel them as he is not feeling too good and anyway I still have his medications so its ok for now.
He is still not getting up as he feels tired and unable to stand even to put him on the wheelchair.
He is no longer in delirium these few days so thats a good sign and somehow he speaks very loud perhaps because he is a little hard in hearing himself of late.
Hopefully he is on the road of recovery:)

biasanya orang yang kurang mendengar akan bercakap kuat2..
tapi saya cukup kesian dengan orang yang pekak tapi tak bisu. sian sebab they don't know how to pronounce word since they can't hear.. saya kenal anak sedara kawan saya yang pekak since born due to her mom went on scuba diving during her pregnancy. the pressure differs between the land and under sea has affected her ears. others are normal..
Kak Elle...tak tau apa nak cakap.
That place - Commonwealth Close used to be my playground too. I have an aunt and uncle who used to stay at Block 82 for many years and another just at infront of old Buona Vista Sec School - Block 103 or 104. There is a huge and long stairways to go up to Block 81-85.

mmg pendengaran tak begitu baik since last admission and ppl hard of hearing do speak loud.
Untuk yg di lahir deaf they can lip read yg di ajar di sekolah kurang pendengaran.

pernah pergi S'pore about 9 years back.. yang bestya, selesa nak jalan2 sebab so clean.. takde dust..
sure banyak memory kak elle kat that building kan...

yes tak sangka yg saya akan berjalan depan rumah yg saya tinggal 40 tahun dulu kan?
kami dulu susah juga hanya mengharap gaji dr bapak semua nya masih sekolah..rumah ni hanya ada 2.5 bedrooms for the 12 of us.

hmmm maybe I was logged on permanently kot. Tapi masa jalan-jalan tu I did get online pakai 3G on my mobile, so maybe that was when you caught me online, entahlah. Yes the pics will follow. I love the blue blue sea of the east coast and memang banyak gambar kat pantai.

I was there almost 15 yrs ago just love the drive along the coastal region tu...dlm hati masa tu teringat musim banjir kalau lautan tu bergelora melimpah agak ayer ke darat asal its so near the coast and the road:)

masa kecik2 dulu zino selalu ke pearl hill , quaters police kot.. cuti sekolah je datang sana.. lepas tu jalan2 ke people park.. tah ada tah tidak lagi hehe..

masih ada tempat tu nanti turun sg bolih lah kesana naik train turun di outram park banyak perbezaan skg mungkin tak kenal tempat tu lagi.

mengimbau kenangan lama nampak. mestilah kan tempat jatuh lagi dikenang. seronok kan bila teringat zaman kecik2 dulu. tapi ummi tak berapa ingatlah, my memory ni ada sikit kureng.hehehe.

unfortunately atok mood swing again this morning ... wati panggil saya kata atok in delirium dan baring dgn kaki terjuntai...agak nak bangun tapi belum kuat nak berdiri..
minta celana and kemeja nak tarok bawah bantal takut org amek.."dlm fikiran ingat di hospital"..saya terpaksa gi kerja asal hari ni dan esok murid2 yg ke field service ke Vietnam and Thailand pulang hari ni...I have to be around incase ada yg sakit masa di sana tapi alhamdulillah semua ok:)
maklang pun kata soup bowl tu cantik...beli dah more than 15 yrs dulu.
