Tea party......

Its graduation day today for the year 6 students....the actual time is at 7pm followed by dinner at the science terrace but unfortunately I didn't stay on to watch the procedure as I think I will need lots of tissues to dry my eyes .... eventhough I am new to the school - only 8 months into my job but I feel like I've been there for so long and I got along well with the children.Yes I maybe firm at times as I don't want them to play truant during lessons as its for their own good.Even though like Zen who doesn't report sick but he is a nice young man with good manners has been a good friend to talk with along with some of other boys and girls.I waited till 6.30pm to see some of them all in their formal attires before I left .... yes parting is hard but nevertheless I wish them all the best for the future.Its not that I don't want to see you people getting your certificates but I will cry because you'll be the first batch of students that I won't be able to interact again .... unless you do a social visit to aunty nurse.

Before the ceremony we had a tea party for the staff as it will be a long evening after that .... and below are the petites bites we had .......

As lunch was just like 3 hours ago so I didn't eat much just took 4 items ... but I took home 6 of that muffin home as we had to clear everything before 6pm ...

The senior boys and girls start to stroll in around 6pm .... hmmm..... some forgot to bring the school tie so had to buy .... it was a biy noisy with 75 of them around all excited and the camwhoring begins ..............

With Chloe ( rambut tutup mata anak Korean) and Eileen .... auny nurse is about to leave so no coatie on ....

Last day ......

Yes last day today but not my last day ah ...but last day of examinations for the IB students and come next year they will be going to the University and most of them I think will be going overseas to pursue their degrees.I had the opportunity to have pictures taken with 3 of them and they say wait till tomorrow when they are in their best being Graduation Day....ok ok aunty nurse will wait for the rest tomorrow.

Aunty nurse with Zen and Rick ..... I don't have to wear white during school holidays .....

With Wei Xin anak malaysia from PJ been studying in Singapore last 10 yrs .... mesti anak yg berada kan? Unfortunately doesn't speak malay at all more Singaporean than Malaysian.

What I cooked today for lunch ...... yes very the rajin .....

Chicken curry eaten with french loaf ... it was a sell out ... one teacher came at 3 plus and all gone poor Mr Chen I'll cook again one day ok?

and will continue later going out for dinner with birthday girls now......

Got home at 11 plus after a seafood dinner ... my bro Fandi treated us since its his 2 daughters birthday Nazz on 17th and Syida on 19th ... couldn't go earlier as the 2 girls were away...Nazz was in Bali with friends and Syida on her flight schedule.

The place - Chai Chee Seafood ni mesti Nora and Sya menelan air liur .... yum..yum ... and we had the followings .......

Psssst Cath nanti mai Sg kita pergi makan ye Robert belanja .... hahaha

Relax day ......

It had been a very relaxing day being on leave on a weekday indeed .... after weeks of not going to the market I decide to do it today and bought lots of stuff until the ah soh ask me 'looks like you are going to have party'...hehe .... apa ke tak my sis Aini pun kirim barang pasar so thats why penuh satu trolley.

I cooked lemak ketam and sotong hitam .... yes I know ummi365 geleng2 kepala asal dia tak leh makan ni semua .... once in a while bolih ummi.It has been a while since I last cook it so today's meal was really finger leaking good.My sis Aini and bil Kam came to have lunch with me and I can see they enjoyed the food and as usual I will pack some for her.

Halfday .......

Now that school holiday has begun I am able to take leave as and when I need it without thinking of the children.So today I decide to take a halfday to collect my passport which was ready on monday .... fast work eh within 3 days I got notification for collection.Soon after lunch of beehoon again I took a cab since it was a cloudy day.Hundreds of people were there most chairs occupied and I managed to find a seat in a corner and my Q number is like another 120 people more so I sat and did my knitting but after awhile decide not to as the Q number is moving very fast and this is what I call efficiency ... kudos to the staff @ICA....I was watching them .. they are always with a smile attending to the customers and they work fast too and after 35 minutes it was my turn and now I am a new owner of a Biometric passport .... but now I have a new pp number to remember unlike before its same number as our IC card ..... so tok zino now with both pp and notebook certainly can travel .... hahaha

Remember the above vouchers I won at the teachers day staff lunch?well I made use of it finally after ICA I went to Takashimaya and bought my daily needs of .......

My estee's foundation and toner ... but because I wasn't wearing my glasses I took the wrong one instead of toner

only when I got home I realise that its a Optimizer ( 4 wrinkles) ok its of use too the problem is the packing is same .... maybe I have to go down again probably to Tangs or Robinson or Metro to get the toner .... memang di takdir suruh jalan jalan lagi.....hehehe

and because I spent $120 actually when I calculated it should be less than that ( its because toner cost less than that) I got the above ok ok just nice to carry with me for my hols.... after deducting from the voucher I need to pay another $23/-only......

Then I saw this box below ....

Ni mata dah rambang ...... or I was talked into it .... with any purchase you can buy this at $98 instead of $180 ........

and I bought it ..............

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY 2 NIECES WHOSE BIRTHDAY FALL 3 DAYS OF EACH OTHER ...... BUT 2 YEARS APART.

Canteen close ....

Now that school is over problem of getting food .... it's difficult for us in the admin section ... no students no food at all only drinks.... and yseterday was bad day as it was rainning right through till 2pm so my boss with Liza in tow drove to Botanical Gdns to buy food and I ask for mee goreng mamak not that authentic but at least got food to eat.Anne bought nasi bryani and it doesn't look like the ones at Arab St but she says it was nice:)

After unpicking my sticthes yesterday I managed to knit again and this time I make it smaller so its easy for me to count as I knit along .....

I got up early to fry these beehoon to bring to work as canteen is closed till school reopens next year ... so for today we have food on the table for lunch.We have to take it one day at a time now as what to eat daily ... the most I can bring sandwiches everyday but then too much sandwiches you will get sick too.

I am taking halfday today to go and collect my new passport and to zino ...' with passport can travel' .... hahaha

Wal hasil balik asal ......

Hari ni sungguh grrrrrrrrrr sekali

..

day ... walaupun sunyi senyap tapi saya terpaksa buka balik hasil yg dah hampir selesai .... sebab ada beberapa rows yang nampak macam senget sikit ...

mungkin salah kira.......

Selepas saya tarik semua jahitan itu ... tengok jadi macam bola dari 3 rolls of yarn ... ini lah pertama kali mengunakan yarn saperti ini .. dia banyak berkerenteng jadi kalau salah pandang ingatkan itu stitch bab tu jadi senget agak nya ...... tu lah hasil yg hampir habis balik asal ..... sekarang kena perhatin sikit dah malas nak buka lagi .....

Ummi ingat tak bag blue flower tu .... see the similarity? thats the pad I used in my room at work and its actually a chairpad but I use it for my back ...... only the rose is slightly darker.

Thats why bila nampak I remember my chairpad .... hahaha ... sory eh ummi the picture of the bags borrowed from ur website.

Happy belated 2nd birthday to My Daily Happenings .... hampir terlupa actual birthday was last month and it has been 2 years of blogging and the number of friend I've made cannot be measured and thank you all for being there in times of sadness and happiness...and may we remain as friends always .. insya'allah.

My new baby ......

This afternoon after chatting with cikmilah and ummi I try to take a nap but got hooked with hindi movie on RTM2 sampai menangis di buat nya .... sob..sob...

Lepas tu ngantok pun hilang so decide to go walk walk ... bila dah siap2 capai bag and off to IMM @ Jurong East nak tengok ada tak the Dell mini tu .... first shop masuk Challenger no stock,Best Denki pun takde .... aiyo ... then I remebered there's a Dell auhtorised agent in that building pusing2 lah cari at last yippee ada stock ..... senyum tak habis .... hmmm.... no pink in mini size only black and white but at one time there's a dark blue but no stock....black or white so in the end I decide on virgin white.....cimilah its S$599 plus GST ... so yg kat Penang tu mahal kan harga nya?

Big sister and little sister ..... wow! wow! wow! .......

And it fits into my handbag too .........

Its very handy and light to carry around so who is next getting it??? cepat2 nanti no stock ....

12 Jam .....

Hari ni aunty nurse kerja 12 jam sibuk seharian menolong apa yang patut dgn speech night.Walaupun takde anak2 yg dtg kebilik tapi VP and my boss yg dtg jumpa nurse ... macam biasa lah suruh cek blood pressure.Agak semua tertekan sedikit beberapa hari ni ... berjumpa parents dgn results anak2 dan untuk siapkan persembahan speech night.

Saya cuma dapat menghadap PC waktu pagi aje lepas tu banyak di luar ...

Ice cream from the 'nieces' at school smlm yr 5 students kena jual ice cream swensen for charity tapi tak banyak yg membeli maklum hari hujan....so lepas makan tengah hari tadi Denise masuk bilik and .... aunty this for you only...... .... rezeki.....

In the afternoon after that busy gila sampai jam 5.30ptg saya lari ke canteen nak tengok persiapan buffet dinner for everyone..parents,staff and students.....masa saya mengambil gambar banyak lagi yg belum siap jadi bolih bayangkan berapa banyak makanan yg di siapkan untuk 1000 orang.

Gambar di atas yg sempat saya tangkap selain tu ada japanese and thai dishes , fruits and desserts dan juga ice kacang.Saya fikir sekolah ni memang tak lokek dgn memberi makan pada kami.

Saya cuma sempat ke class Chinese culture ... students and teachers from China mempersembahkan ni .... interesting ... saya cuba pakai baju yg di pamirkan alahai comei sgt tak muat den.....hehehe .....

Jam 8 mlm kesian 'my nephews' ni semua belum makan pasal mereka semua on duty jadi di bawa ke conference room di mana our VIPS makan ada banyak lagi ... so rezeki dia orang lah makan apa yg ada .......

Saya tak sempat pun naik ke dewan melihat the speech night ... asal kena kemaskan bilik conference dan jam 9 mlm saya pulang ... genap 12 jam saya bekerja hari ni tapi takde OT ye....dgn rela hati menolong.
