Welcome onboard.....
Today 3rd March mark a new history in my life and today I start on a new job after 35 yrs been in the last job.I start the day at 9am and was shown to my own room .... yes a room of my own,my own brand new table,chair,cabinets and filing cabinet.Tomorrow I have sales reps coming as I need to order lots of stuff to start the sick bay.
The principal and vice principal came to my room at 9.15am to welcome me onboard...so sweet:)
Then one of the teachers came with an envelope for me and its a birthday wishes card and signed by the staff and some teachers as the card won't be enough for all 74 teachers to pen their name...I was almost in tears to read the card .... the welfare dept really take care of their staff and the staff who hand me the card is the bahasa melayu teacher who is a chinese!!
At 10.45am I was introduced to all the teachers in the conference room during their weekly meeting and I am to attend this meeting every monday
...... I am considered as their academic staff ??........ afterall I am getting the teachers leave rite?

For the whole day I only have 6 walkin students to report sick .... but 1 boy had wooden splinter in his left thumb and I managed to remove it eventhough I have no instruments at all.
A girl student came in during tea break asking me to help put an eye ointment for her,a boy with sinus headache and ok after 15 minutes rest in my sick bay.Be warn some of them are apparently playing truants so I have to be either a good aunt or a bad dragon aunt ..... hahaha
Tomorrow the IT ppl are setting up a pc for me and adding an acct for me too so I have direct link with the teachers should the children come in to report sick.
To those who wished me best wishes on my first day ..... 
so much.
When I have the time one of these days I will try and snap some pictures around the school.
PS .... atok is still in hospital.

I am soooo glad u have been made special with loads of warmth on ur first day at work.... the working environment here must be totally different from what u were used to... at least u feel appreciated here, right? and no e- billings! heheh ..
