Musliha and soto memang takde kena mengena cuma di-jadikan satu title untuk hari sabtu ni .... hari yang indah pasal tak hujan sebab saya ada banyak cucian di jemuran....alhamdulillah cuaca ok so far.
When you come to my blog the song you hear is Musliha and thats her above(mus sorry aunty curi your pic from your blog).This song is written my cousin Hussaini Ajmain - her dad when she was a baby of 6th months I think - correct me if I am wrong.This song was sang by Othman Hamzah along with Gadis Melayu and it was a hit in the 70's.Lately Othman Hamzah make a come back and did a second recording and here I am at last manage to download it.To Mus here's your song.
This is Imran Ajmain her baby....oops.. brother:)Imran has written songs too like Perpisahan sang by Anwar Zain(if I'm not wrong) he also wrote for Taufik Batisha and Hady Mirza and now he has his own break and his songs are a hit too been on the top chart for weeks.He has been nominated for 7 awards this coming APM to be held in June and unfortunately I will be away in Europe.I wish you all the best Imran if you can't win all 7 at least 1...make your parents proud of you and us too tok gemuk(thats what these 2 kiddos call my father) and family.Mus can you fwd my blog to him I don't think he knows my blog exist....haha .. For tonite I cook mee soto after seeing maklang's last week lunch mengidam pulak.....hehe
As usual after work saturday will do bit of groceries shopping at the supermart and this week offer of chicken is only $2.95 for a 1.4kg chicken.I bought one and the easiest is just to boil the whole chicken .... too lazy to cut it up!!so decide to do mee soto for saturday's dinner.

Mee kuning ,taugeh,bergedil,ayam,daud sop/daun bawang and cili kicap.
This is mine ready to eat mee soto ..... its so yummylicious!!ok lots of billing to do as homework again :(

Yesterday's dinner become today's lunch.......
There were only father and me for dinner last nite so lots of leftovers so for today decide to have it for lunch too.
Went to the market to get the lontong,taugeh,bergedil and spring onions and chinese parsley.
I defrost another whole chicken and put to boil for more chicken broth and meat for the soto.
I use this soto mixed for the soup just add to the chicken broth and smashed some lemon grass.
Lontong @ $1.60 per log.
Frozen bergedil for lazy ppl like me....hehe
Lontong and taugeh.
Taraaaaaaaaaa soto for lunch and its so yummy.

Tadi masuk tapi tak sempat tulis komen sebab terus dapat idea nak masak apa sebab ada kawan arab zaid kata nak datang, mula-mula nak masak soto, bila sampai dapur tukar jadi nasi ayam, sup jugaklah kiranya..timakasih bagi idea ye kak elle....

the bergedil I showed here is from TJ brand owned by my sis neighbour and the factory in JB but sold here and to some oversea countries.My grandaunty in KL tak jumpa pun in KL .....

yes things are made specially for us teringat dulu bila arwah nak buat kena tolong lenyekan potatoes nak buat bergedil.Yes are 2 types of bergedil sold here with or without daging.Senangkan?
